During a visit to Playa Conchal, arose the desire to feel connected to the surrounding neighborhood, so why experience the area through one of its restaurants? After deciding to arrive at Ander's Restaurant, it was immediately clear that excellent service would definitely be the standard for the rest of the night. Javier, our very attentive host, provided a warm and sincere welcome, and proceeded to inquire about any food restrictions and preferences, as well as consulted with Chef Ander regarding some options (not on the menu) to cater to a vegetarian's regimen. By surprise, both were happy to offer a few different plates that delivered on every detail. In relatively short order, arrived the most delicious, well prepared and nicely presented meals one could find in Brasilito. Nice texture, fresh ingredients, savory taste - perfect way to end the day.Add to that the authentic beach vibe, clean and orderly tables (glasses, tableware and tablecloths) and more than accesible price - for me that's an EASY five out of five "Excellent rating"!

Move all the way here after reading about this place in Fodors and on TripAdvisor. Their website does not mention anything about being closed. But when we got here, it look like the place had been locked up tight for quite some time. Maybe they are closed and rainy season, I donât know. But at least put up some signage, at least put on your website, at least do something to let people know. We drove around trying to figure out if there was an alternate entrance we were just missing something, but nothing. Saludos,Sebastien

We have eaten all over Costa Rica, and just when I thought a great steak was impossible to find, we came across this place! Open fire cooking at it's best. A great selection of wine, excellent service and an upscale atmosphere, brought us back for a second visit about a week later, and we weren't disappointed. A must visit if you are in the Samara/Carrillo area.

If you are looking for a fresh cooked to order breakfast served by the nicest family look no further than Jalapenos. Mike and his wife made us feel like part of their family while sitting outside in the cutest garden. The burritos were amazing. They were huge and delicious and filled us up till dinner time.If the setting and food weren't enough they invited us behind the restaurant to see and hand feed their chickens. For is city slickers from the US it was a definite highlight.

We've read many good reviews about Brisas and were really expecting greatness. We arrived at 1130 but they were still closed. I got the waiters attention and he said they were having some trouble and it would be 12. We waited and after 10 minutes, he opened the doors.I order the chicken with mustard and spinach and my wife ordered a salad with smoked salmon. I was so sad when it was gone. The Dijon mustard sauce was wonderful. The chicken was perfect. I'm sitting here wanting to order again. Prices were very reasonable. More so than at other places around here. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be returning!(sorry about the pics, I started wolfing it down before I remembered to take a photo)

We had a mixed meat plate of grilled chicken and beef. It came with french fries and vegetables. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. There was enough on the plate for me and my husband, and enough to take home for another meal. The service was very good. I especially like the decor that gave me that "big city" feel like New York of Chicago. I felt transcended. The restaurant offers live music many nights and you should check to see when they do and join in.Dear Shirley,Greetings from Liberia Social! We are so happy that you enjoyed your time with us in Liberia. Thanks for taking the time to write and rate us. I will share your comments with our team which i am sure they will be very happy to hear that you enjoyed the service, the food, and the ambiance we offered. Hope our paths will cross again.
