A lovely lunch date and I had planned to meet across the street at River City Winery for lunch on Sunday afternoon - but on arrival - found out that restaurant seems to be closed indefinitely - liquor license issues advisedly - but who knows... was glad we ended up at Habana Blue however - this restaurant had a very nice, intimate and cozy atmosphere - perfect for a romantic lunch for 2 on a blustery winter day...the menu is large and diverse - if you can read Spanish - that is a plus - as the names of most dishes are in Spanish - thought there are English translations in small font type beneath each one - your server will be glad to guide you however - Also a nice beverage menu - including various types of Sangria available by the glass or pitcher - my date chose one of these and the serving was so generous and the drink so "well mixed" (strong) - she decided not to finish it all for the sake of the drive home - I shared a sip also and it was tasty!We shared a couple of the tapas platters - with several small bites on each one - including empanadas, seviche, shrimp on a flatbread and tasty calamari - there were plenty for 2 with a few bites left to take home...of note - there is an entire intact aquamarine blue 1957 (or so) Chevy sedan assembled right inside the dining room for a dramatic accent piece, Cuban music playing on the satellite radio, and lots of Cuban and Caribbean artwork on the walls for a festive atmosphere - also very high backed, deep and comfy booths for nice private conversations..I would say prices were average/reasonable/typical for the area - and service was professional - attentive but not overly so - we lingered a long time after eating and they did not hurry us along..btw - I asked on a Sunday afternoon it the interesting looking items on the "breakfast menu" were still available later in the day - and they are not..All in all - recommended - nice for romantic couples date or a sophisticated business meeting setting - te goza!

We met 6 others for a Sunday lunch. We were warmly greeted and got suggestions from our friends. My husband had a burrito and it was huge and flavorful! I had the mahi mahi tacos and they came with nice presentation and lots of different textures and flavors that complemented each other. Service was excellent and attentive. Everyone in our group loved their choices! Most took half their lunch home in carryout boxes.
