I have driven by so many times but never stopped. I always drive by on weekends and is always full. I thought it was because of the âchinchorreoâ movement, where local people go out on weekends (specially on sundays) and just stop on as many places as they can where cheap food and cheap drinks are served. Not necessary good food or great places. This place is just extremely good in prices, food quality and service. Everything we ordered was top quality. And the cherry on top: it is next to the beach. Please do yourself a favor and stop by.

Went with wife, kids and another couple. The place used to be much better, I am writing the review to see if the owner wakes up and realizes that a great place is becoming mediocre. Waiters are poorly trained and lack of follow up to the clients. They were drinking at work! The food used to be good now is not anything special. Churrasco was overcooked, tostones were burned and the sangria (used to be good) now is awful. Prices are ok but with quality and services is hard to pay afterwards. WAKE UP! used to be a great place.

Sancho Panza is a nice Pizza restaurant at Mayaguez, they have also a variety menu, including Churrasco, Mofongo and others. The service is one of the best. I went with my family and really we enjoy the time there.

La Jibarita has become a favorite for brunch at Mayaguez, and this past weekend I joined this new movement. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and egg platter, cooked to a perfect medium. I must say that very rarely I find such good beef at our local restaurants, and perfectly cooked eggs. The family was also happy with their selections. Excellent service as well

Saw this restaurant next to our hotel so we thought we would try it. What a great choice it was. They have limited indoor seating with patio seating also available. Not all of the wait staff speak English, so we had to wait an extra few minutes to get a server that did which was not a problem. We ordered our drinks & received them quickly. We noticed something a little strange for a restaurant in Puerto Rico, they were playing oldies from the 70's. Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Van Halen, Ozzie Osborne etc. We asked out waiter when he came back to take our order about the music & he said the owner loves that music so that is what he likes playing in his restaurant. I decided to order a steak & one of our diners ordered the Baby Back Ribs. Out meal came out fairly quickly & the food was great. My steak was cooked perfectly & the person that ordered the ribs could not stop raving about how good they were. They looked very meaty & he said they were extremely tender. In fact, since we were staying in the area for a week, we came back a second time & we all got the Baby Back Ribs. Not only were they great, they were only $14.00 with one side item. What a steal. I would put them up against any Ribs I have had in the USA @ any price. We also got the Carrot Cake for desert & once again, it was some of the best I had ever eaten. If you are near Mayaguez, or even close, while in Puerto Rico, you have to go to Casiano's Chicken & ribs.

We were so disappointed in this place, took my dad and his wonderful wife there to celebrate their anniversary because they raved about this place. I think even they were mad they had gone there. Location is good - on the water - but unfortunately it was a foggy/rainy evening. Service was terrible, food was just ok and was very expensive. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and

Discovered on my last trip to Mayaguez and returned four times. Itâs modern, with very friendly and professional servers, and excellent food. Impressed with the creativity. We focused on the tapas although they also have regular dishes. The three-hummus dish was great, octopus and ceviche refreshing, steak tender, and the fried pork to die for. The drinks were great. The mojito arrived with gigantic mint leaves. During the last visit had their Spanish wine by the glass which was good and well priced. We ate on the outside terrace where there is a lovely bar for drinks. When serving the small portion of their most popular soup would be best to serve a smaller portion of the rice. Thank you for elevating the restaurant scene in Mayaguez!
