Our first visit to Tequila Sunrise (there will be more) was somewhat surprising inasmuch as we entered a reasonably large dining room, which contrasted with my stereotypical view of Mexican restaurants as shoehorned into small spaces. The restaurant also featured a Mariachi band which was playing as we entered. Most important, the food was superior, as were the house cocktails (try their Mojito!). All in all, a superior experience in Mexican cuisine.

We opened Quenas with the dream of presenting the wide diversity and fusion of Peruvian food, using the best and most authentic ingredients, in a modern presentation. Peruvian cuisine fuses many different ethnicities, including Spanish, Chinese, Japanese,
Had dinner with another couple on a recent Saturday night - our first time here though they had been before. Small place in Harrison with authentic decor and reservation signs at every table. We started with their Sangria - not too sweet and oh so delicious. Appetizers were terrific, the flavor combinations though unique to our tastes, worked beautifully together. I enjoyed a delicious Chicken dish with a very slight kick and my husband had the Peruvian Paella. We both proclaimed our meals amazing. Not a big dessert eater, I agreed to have a taste of a plate of Churros ordered for the table. Outstanding - crispy on the outside and filled with delicious Dulce de Leche in the middle. We will return!

Visited for a quick lunch of 2 tacos at the bar. I enjoyed the hospitality of being served delicious warm fried nacho chips and a masterful fresh salsa with my tiny order. I considered one of the fruit drinks on the menu, but then discarded the idea with mental visions of a syrupy concoction from a bottle. Then when I watched the bartender stocking the bins with frozen strawberries and beautiful chunks of fresh mango, I reconsidered. She made me a blender drink of mango and strawberry, with no added sugar, at my request. What a treat on this 85 degree April day. Tacos ordered dairy-free were delicious. Price under $10. I would like to return and try the mole and more!
