Lunch with the Family was fantastic! My Mom ate the whole Lunch and I was impressed as she is a 73 yrs old lady and the food must be good for her to finish and no take the left over for later. Good Service and Very Polite Waiters.
Covana Seaside Kitchen, located at Puro Surf Hotel is set under a impressive 26ft thatched roof, open air and overlooking the Pacific. The location could not be more picturesque. The food is creative and delicious. The menu consists of global cuisine but
We stopped in for lunch yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and came away fairly pleased. We had the tuna appetizer - it was really good (though a bit heavy-handed on the sesame oil). I had the mahi-mahi grilled and served over a red quinoa. The fish was perfectly cooked, but there was too much red onion mixed in with the quinoa. My companion had the grilled shrimp and declared them fantastic - and she really liked the yucca that accompanied. Overall it was a good meal experience but perhaps the chef could oversee the prep line a little closer. The restaurant is attached to the Puro Surf hotel.

A must when you are in El Salvador. Great food and excellent service. Beautiful views as it is placed on the edge of the cliff. The best Mojiro I ever tried:)
La Bocana has an amazing view of El Tunco beach from the 2nd storey dining area. The food, service, atmosphere, etc were all pretty average though. My wife and I ordered hamburgers and the kids ordered a spaghetti bolognese to share. The hamburgers were so-so and the kids were happy with the spaghetti. The spaghetti was huge and way more than the kids needed. The server took our drink and meal orders together, brought our meals and we never saw him again until we tracked him down to pay. We got what we wanted, a meal with a view. What we didnât get was anything else that couldâve made the meal special in any way.

Playa El Tunco has a variety of places to eat especially if you are on a budget. I was accommodated by the Roca Sunzal Resort and I decided to eat at the restaurant despite it wasn't inexpensive for Salvadorean standards. I was totally impressed with the food, cocktails, and environment that I ate here everyday during my weekend at El Tunco. My favorite cocktail was the Sangria Cocktail hands down. My favorite plate was the Lobster Rellena. This view and being right on beach where I was entertained by cumbia musicians at $5 a song made this the best food and restaurant in El Tunco. I look forward to my next visit. It actually was the best restaurant experience I had in El Salvador period. Happy Travels!!!!

We were here a couple of times and the food was always good. For breakfast as well as dinner. But the service was really not good, we waited such a long time just for some juices or even when there were just a couple of other guests.

Absolutely no vegetarian options. Also, despite only three tables on the entire level of the restaurant being occupied and one of them smoking, we were told that we could not smoke at out table. My meat-eating friend found the food bland and over-priced as well.

Somos un restaurante que ha sido concebido para cumplir con las más altas normas de comodidad, servicio, seguridad y privacidad para nuestros clientes.
We were there at about 7:30pm with the surreal experience of being the only customers in the restaurant until another party came in about 10 minutes after we sat down. So, service was pretty good. The calamari was quite good, maybe in the upper reaches of calamari I've had before. The grilled (seabass) fillet was perfectly cooked as was my companion's whole fried fish. There were some other things on the menu that looked interesting, and there are several posts here that speak well of the pizza, so we'll go back and give some of the other dishes a try. I think we'll also go back during daylight ... the views looked like they are phenomenal.

We had a group of 18 traveling together from the US. Betoâs was able to seat us promptly at a table with a great view of the Pacific.Serving a lunch to a large group is never easy, but Betos did a great job. Everyone in our group loved their food. In our group about 1/3 ordered a steak 1/3 ordered seafood and 1/3 ordered a pasta dish. A couple of the teenagers ordered pizza. Everyone was quite pleased with their meal. Betoâs house beer, Betoâs Oscuro, was an interesting beer. It had a sweeter taste than you would expect for a dark beer. I suggest you order it.
