From the outside the building has a good look and plenty of parking, inside looks like a mexican restaurant in Texas. The service was good but the plates were very tasty and affordable. I ordered the Burrito and it was more than its share for a dinner, my wife ordered fajitas and she was also surprised of the great taste. To my taste this is the closest that I have come to the days back in Texas eating mexican food, when we go back to San Miguel this is a stop in our trip.Take care of yourself......first.
Covana Seaside Kitchen, located at Puro Surf Hotel is set under a impressive 26ft thatched roof, open air and overlooking the Pacific. The location could not be more picturesque. The food is creative and delicious. The menu consists of global cuisine but
We stopped in for lunch yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and came away fairly pleased. We had the tuna appetizer - it was really good (though a bit heavy-handed on the sesame oil). I had the mahi-mahi grilled and served over a red quinoa. The fish was perfectly cooked, but there was too much red onion mixed in with the quinoa. My companion had the grilled shrimp and declared them fantastic - and she really liked the yucca that accompanied. Overall it was a good meal experience but perhaps the chef could oversee the prep line a little closer. The restaurant is attached to the Puro Surf hotel.

Well perhaps since it was my first night in El Salvador that made this restaurant so special- or maybe the great conversation. The food was great and lively atmosphere helped. I had camarrones and steak. If you have a large group ask for the private room!
