Very new restaurant. Only opened for about one month
I have eaten here numerous times since reviewing it, and thought it was good enough to bring to your attention again. I had a simple omelet filled with an herbed soft cheese, served with a fresh chopped salad of mesclun, cherry tomatoes, carrots, radishes and scallion topped with my choice of dressing. The omelet was soft, delicate, not overcooked, with a runny delicious filling. I finished with a piece of Washington Inn apple cake - a large wedge which I had no trouble polishing off.If there's a single word which best describes the food at this restaurant it's FRESH. Everything is made from scratch daily, including the house-made potato chips. The restaurant is very vegetarian friendly, and offers a good selection of daily seasonal specials. Sabrina, the chef/owner will probably visit your table to make sure you're satisfied. Service is very good. While it provides breakfast and lunch during the week, once a month there is a (BYOB) dinner featuring the cuisine of some other culture. This is really special - and if you're vegetarian, let Sabrina know and you won't be disappointed in their offering. You will have to call ahead for reservations, as it's usually sold out. There are a couple of ways to gauge the quality of a restaurant. If I asked you to pick the top five restaurants in Middletown you'd almost certainly include this one. If I had to pick one restaurant of those five for my last meal it would be this one. To slice it another way, if I had to eat at only one restaurant in Middletown, it would still be this one.

Best place in town for Mexican food. Fresh nachos, tacos and burritos. Love the people and food. Very local nothing fancy about the decor but that's fine with me as it helps keep price reasonable and still get the freshest food every time. They are super busy so order in advance if possible if not there is a little wait but worth it. Tacos are on the small end but packed with ingredients, therefore add in the nachos and you'll have a filling meal.

Does anything else turn heads more, other than a supermodel walking by? That smoking hot platter of fajitas the server brings out gets you everytime even though I know it's for show (the meal is cooked already, gets plated on a super hot skillet sitting under a burner and some squirts of water to complete the smoking presentation as it heads out the door. I ruined the magic just like with Santa and the tooth fairy). Portions were equal to the cost, we left with plenty leftovers, margaritas well made. The vibe had you transported to a Mexican resort restaurant without feeling like a mariachi band would pop up or a lady selling roses. I'm sorry I didn't give this place a chance sooner.

Miami-Style (Latin with a twist) dining rooms, a wrap around bar, two seating areas, a private dining room, and outdoor patio seating. When you walk in the door, you will know you are in a special and unusual dining environment. The cuisine is called "Nue
On our initial visit to this nuevo Latin restaurant, our arrival, by shear coincidence, coincided with the weekday happy hour that runs from 4-6PM. If you are buying that, I have some ocean front property in Nevada that you might be interested in purchasing. Since the weather was uncharacteristically warm and beautiful, we decided to start off by settling in at a table under a large umbrella on the expansive deck while nursing a pair of righteous mojitos. We initially thought the drinks a bit strong, but as the afternoon progressed both we and the mojitos mellowed to such an extent that a second round was deemed a necessity. We then settled our tab and proceeded to stumble our way inside for dinner in one of the two colorfully decorated dining rooms. Though the menu offered an abundance of temptations, we decided to share an ensalada fresca (fresh field greens, cherry tomatoes, mango, and goat cheese tossed with a tamarind-raspberry vinaigrette) that proved to be refreshingly light. For an entree, my wife chose Cana, sugar cane-dark rum caramelized salmon over a quinoa, baby spinach, shitake mushroom and sweet plantain warm salad and ginger lemongrass salsa. Wow!Not to be outdone, and for a change I wasnât, I ordered tapada de mariscos (nuevo Latin chowder with red snapper, little neck clams, mussels, corn, plantain, yucca, coconut and saffron. The seafood was both abundant and fresh while the broth was nothing short of delicious. Wow and double Wow!
