Great Cuban food, well prepared and efficiently served. A welcome break from Mexican, tasty, spicy, and served with aplomb. Looking forward to going back for another try.

The service is amazing, my second time here, I ordered the Lamb again because I couldn't resist and it was exactly the same as I remembered it. The only downside I can think of is that the waiting staff were crowding our table and took my plate early. They seemed like they were in a rush so I agreed to have the plate removed so I could speak to my girlfriend in peace. Other than that everything was amazing.

We stopped by for a Mexican meal and was not disappointed. My husband had not been for several years but we were on the freeway and decided to come in for a visit. The service was impeccable and the management really has a team that is supportive of each other and provides great service to it's customers. We were really impressed and spoke to the manager before leaving the restaurant. If there was an empty dish or glass it was quickly filled by any of the team members. The salsa is very good, chunky with a little zing. Fresh corn tortillas also delivered to the table with butter, and chips. Yum. We really enjoyed both of our meals. We ate the Azteca burrito and a combination meal with chicken taco and chile relleno. Ingredients were fresh and the refried beans were light and tasty. We will be back. No alcohol on this trip. also was nicely decorated for upcoming valentine's day.

We had a great casual dinner here, and although the wait to be seated in the restaurant was over an hour, we seated ourselves right away in the large bar area (with teenagers) The sevice was prompt, we started with guac (that could have used more seasoning and delicious roasted corn (the best dish of the night!) Thee fish tacos were very good and the portions were large. The music in the bar was good but quite loud, not allowing for conversation.

I made the reservation with high expectations based on the others' reviews of the restaurant, along with the reputation of the chef. My expectations were quickly dashed when the food came. The skirt steak was inedible - so badly charred that all we could taste was the char. It was like eating a tough, expensive, loaf of ash. In surprising contrast, the seafood paella, which should have had a nice crusting, had none. Although the rice was perfectly cooked, the seafood was all undercooked, as were the bell peppers. The pulpo and potatoes were warm and cold respectively. The bacon-wrapped dates and potato and ground beef balls were the best dishes. The waitress never once asked how the food was and she was always rushing away. Given the reviews, I can only assume the chef was off for the night and nobody was supervising the kitchen. I won't be back, but I left with the feeling that this was just a bad night for kitchen, but more disappointingly, nobody there seemed to care.

We arrived, without a reservation early on a weekend night and, after a short wait, were seated for dinner.Holy yum yums. We started with the Shrimp Ceviche (Mexican shrimp, sashimi ahi; topped withhabanero and yellow tomato salsa; with mariquitas chips) Sweet love of gat! That was awesome. Then we split the Churrasco Steak. Oh my LOVE! EL CHURRASCO8 oz. skirt steak with chimichurri, street style corn, white rice, plantain, sofrito black beans, grilled red onion. LOVE LOVEFlavor. Great cocktails. Great service. Lovely!

We have friends in town visiting and we took them to Taco Mesa on 19the Street in Costa Mesa. The place in fun just on the outside - you cannot miss the graffitis. But this is a good and not an art review. And the food does deliver. I had a chicken Quesadilla, everyone else had A good sampling of all the Taco offerings. What I have tried, was all outstanding.Caution, the food is initially not spicy, but there are a few sauces available to spice things up to meet everyoneâs needs. We will be back, especially now where itâs a bit colder outside and you can have dinner outside under the heat lanterns - great food, great vibe.

While the food is quite good, this small restaurant has an utter disregard for customer service. The dining experience is terrible, in spite of the excellent food. Don't bother, when there are a 3 better restaurants within walking distance of this place.
