I was so impressed with the entire evening. The staff, the meal, the ambiance all came directly from Spain. Nothing was missed for sure. Each plate that arrived was just as tasty as the next. From appetizers, to entree, to dessert.

Delicious burritos and quesadillas. A nice size menu with typical types of Mexican food with some flare added. We had the food delivered. They said it would be 45 minutes and they literally came in 10.

My husband and I had wanted to enjoy dinner at Maria's several times and just couldn't get in. I finally did when I scheduled lunch instead with a girlfriend. Food was terrific, nicely presented; service was attentive, the room was relaxed (although I can't speak for the dinner hour) and attractive. Hope to get back for dinner with my husband!

The empanadas are good, not great. They are a bit too heavy on the crust with too much on the ends. Also the batch I had was over-fried. Have had better empanada's off very good food truck in Manhattan. Generally we were very happy with our entree choices but the mussels were beyond their prime. Our server was friendly and our cocktails were especially good. Friends told us about this restaurant and we were passing by at a late lunch time and decided to try it. We're very glad we did. Everything was fresh and delicious. The decor is attractive but the stars are the food and service.....and the margaritas! We'll be back to try the dinner menu which looks like it has many more appetizers and perhaps a few more entrees. We are looking forward to going back and seeing Nora.
