Normally, one wouldn’t equate "relaxing spa vacation" with "hanging out near an active volcano," but if you’re up for something more exotic than facials and massages, Banos might be the perfect place for you. The thermal mineral pools here are heated by the volcano, and while there are several, offering different amenities, the easiest one to visit is Las Piscinas de la Virgen. Banos also has plenty of outdoor activities, like rafting and biking on scenic paths.

First of all none of the âcarnesâ on the menu was available. So we were reduced to selecting chicken too fancy to be good in this neighborhood along the highway and a âmonster burgerâ with velveeta cheese, mushrooms and bacon.Drinks took 20-25 minutes to get to the table. The food took nearly an hour.And it wasnât worth the wait.No idea what was going on here. The air outside smelled of wonderful bar-b-que. but we didnât get it or see it.Thanks for sharing your comments. It is very important that we learn about your experience with us; Only then we can improve our services and details so in future the experiences are even better. But I think the day after this, you really enjoy the food.

We went to this restaurant while visiting Baños, Ecuador. First of all, the place itself, is well designed, with a mixture of contemporary and folkloric decore.Second, the service provided by David Sanchez was outstanding. He had broad knowledge of the menu and was able to explain each dish.Lastly, the chefs Tony Montaña and Gabriel Roman were able to fuse flavors and push boundaries with tastes in every dish.Kudos to the entire team and we highly recommend.Kathy and Gabe from NY

We were very intrigued by the reviews of this place, as you can see for yourself they go from 5 marks where the place is reviewed for itâs great food and 1 mark where the place is reviewed for being racist or anti-Semitic. We decided to go and see ourselves. I have taken a photo of the sign and I am attaching it to this review, hoping that will be posted. It is in Spanish and it basically translate to: âIsraelis that donât accept to live in peace with Palestinians are not allowed hereâ. Maybe I am a little slow, but I donât think this statement is racist nor anti-Semitic, to me it seems to promote peace, I guess the people upset about it are in favor of war and decided to call the guy racist to get back at him. Anyway⦠letâs now talk about the real reason we should talk about this place ⦠food! We ordered the popular $25 mixed grill for 2 people. We were served 4 courses. 1) 4 different kind of sausages2) 2 different cuts of pork chops3) 2 chicken breast4) 2 fillet mignonEvery single dish was mouth watering and cooked to perfection. We ordered 2 glasses of house wine (very decent) and 2 bottles of water. The final bill was $ 36. Both my friend and I felt it was the best mix grilled we ever had for this kind of money. The restaurant has a very warm and colorful decor. The service was ok. If you wanna have a great grill, this is the place for you! if you are touchy about your political views than maybe you donât deserve to have a nice meal. We set out looking for a steakhouse for dinner and found Jaguar and glad we stopped in.Upon receiving a warm welcome from a great Venezulan waiter. He was super friendly and provided excellent service!We ordered the tomahawk steak to share which was cooked to perfection. It was delicious and very reasonably priced.If you are looking for steak, this is a great place to check out.

Me and my girlfriend travel a lot. Like a LOT. We love arepas and eat them wherever we can find them. The arepas at Arepas To Go have been the BEST arepas weâve had anywhere. I can only imagine Venezuela has better..but alas, we cannot visit anytime soon.10/5 stars. Highly recommended. The pabellón is delicious as is the vegetarian option. Empanadas are good, but really the arepas are the real deal. Donât order anything but.

This one did not disappoint, reviews are spot on. The cook rolled the tortillas out from fresh dough and grilled em right there for each order. Order the gucamole and get 4-5 house made sauces all fresh and unique, from hot to sweet (BlackBerry \tequila) most unusual. Everything we tried was yummy, will go back for more.
