El Paraiso Mexican Restaurant is a reliable choice for lunch or dinner. We have eaten here probably 3-4 times as weâve headed south back in to California. The restaurant is decorated in the traditional Mexican style with bright colors, comfy booths and a small sports bar. The waitstaff is animated, friendly and efficient. The chips and salsa are yummy but the real star here is the fajitas. I have ordered both the beef and the chicken fajitas and each time I am amazed by how much food I am given. The sizzling hot plate is filled with sautéed onions, bell peppers and meat. I always have plenty left to serve to my husband the next day! Itâs a winner! My husband often has ordered the enchilada plate and has also been totally pleased with his selection. The salsa is delicious and its addition makes every entree even more tasty. Whether you are staying in one of the nearby hotels, are passing through Ashland or live in the area, I recommend the El Paraiso Restaurant. Good food, nice staff and a fair price!

Overpriced and not that great! Guacamole appetizer is served with chips sticking out of the guacamole. It was a mess, resulting in soggy chips and sparse guacamole. We ordered halibut fish tacos and a pork sandwich (both suggestions of our waitress). We werenât impressed. Paid $50 for these three items. Wish it was better, we were excited to try Agave.

We ate at this restaurant while staying one night in Ashland on route to Seaside, OR. The food was good, but we will not return due to the tipping incentive. You order at a window then the food is brought to you. When we paid with a credit card, they turned the approval machine around with a suggested 15%, 18%, or 20% tip, which didn't allow for a normal tip for takeout. Then there are signs where you are sitting for you to bus your own table. Maybe it was our fault for not being aware - we left a tip for full service on the credit card.. The experience just left us feeling taken advantage of.

El Tapatio provides Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Entertainment & kind's Menu Serving Ashland, OR area.
Our party of 17 (school spring trip) came here for dinner while visiting Ashland. We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel's front desk. It did not disappoint! We have a vegan in our party and a couple of picky eaters and everyone was able to find something to eat. The servings were large and the free nachos and salsa on the table were refilled as needed. We even had entertainment from 2 ladies who sang!
