First, the good. Sam Hawk's food is very good. I ordered the Bibimbap in a stone bowl and it was really one of the best I've ever had! As a vegetarian, I ordered it with tofu and there's little I would do to make it better. A friend ordered a beef dish - Bulgogi - that he loved. Also in my photographs is a stew with various kinds of meat. My friend who ordered it didn't love it, so she wouldn't recommend it. Order the bibimbap! We arrived and there was a wait. About 20 minutes, no big deal. And we were seated in about exactly that amount of time. From the time we ordered to the time our food was delivered was nearly two hours. I'm not kidding. It was worth the wait, the food was good, but the wait was definitely unexpected and jarring. For many, that would be a deal breaker. If we knew the wait was so long, we would've eaten elsewhere. The restaurant is fine, nothing spectacular. Modestly decorated and a bit cafeteria-like in chairs and tables. This is a bit off-putting, but one can't judge too harshly as they build their business. The worst part of the experience is that they serve your drinks in paper cups. Strange. Then when getting a refill, the server took our paper cups, out of our sights, and refilled them and came back: I may not have had view of the drink dispenser, but I saw the garbage can she dumped the glasses into, before refilling them. This seems like a very unhealthy practice, I asked her to throw the glasses out and was uncomfortable with the practice. She was very kind and understood and got us new paper cups for our drinks. If Sam Hawk corrects some of their practices (that could potentially threaten their business due to health code) I would recommend this place highly. They are working hard and I would love them to have success, but they have a ways to go.

My father and I decided to try this restaurant for a late lunch - 3 pm. The restaurant is at the edge of a strip mall that has a large Latin grocery store. When we arrived, no one was there. We ordered bulgogi and bulgogi soup. It was good and there was plenty of food. The food is good - I used to go to Korea all the time for work and it is good for Utah.
If you enjoy Korean food put this on your regular stopping places to eat. The surroundings are fairly plain but the food is good and they provide you with large portions. The Stone Bowl was a great choice for me and everyone in our group of three persons concluded we definitely want to make a return visit. The service was friendly and efficient.
The moment you walk in here it smells amazing. My son and I went here because of how much we loved cooking meat at our own table while vacationing in Japan recently. Everything about Yummys was great. The service, the cleanliness and most importantly the food. We did the AYCE sushi and bbq dinner. AMAZING
