I was eager to try this restaurant after my son gave it a glowing recommendation for fried chicken. We ordered ten-piece drumsticks which seemed a bit pricey but I understood better when I saw their size. They had a crisp, nongreasy coating and were sprinkled with our choice of soy garlic sauce. I would have preferred that the sauce be provided for dipping. There was not enough on the chicken to provide much flavor, but to have added more to the chicken would have reduced the crispness. If I go again I will ask for extra sauce. A bucket was thoughtfully provided for the bones. Other parts of the chicken are also available. We additionally ordered pork belly buns, ribeye tacos, kimchi and japchae. The pillowy soft buns contained a very small piece of meat, cucumber and cole slaw. The cole slaw, that also came as a side, was a Southern-style mayo based that I don't usually associate with Korean food. The tacos also contained a small amount of meat and included the same toppings. My daughter enjoyed the japchae, although again there was little meat. I was disappointed in the kimchi, a dish that I really appreciate. It seemed to contain only large pieces of cabbage, and it was hot enough but had no flavor. This restaurant chain seems to have an Americanized version of traditional Korean food. Perhaps less meat is a good thing healthwise, but I couldn't appreciate the cole slaw condiment. However, I took the cole slaw side dish home and it made a wonderful pulled pork sandwich. The slaw was absolutely fresh and pretty to look at.Service was good and parking is plenty since the restaurant is located in a shopping center. I will likely give it another chance since bulgogi and bibimbap are on the limited menu. Fried chicken is the main attraction. My experience probably just relates to personal preference. It is good to have another restaurant choice in Pasadena.

We ordered the "Korean Style Chinese food" chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. They brought us Miso soup along with small bowls of samples of the Korean foods: kimchi, pickled radish, broccoli, bean sprouts, Korean pickles, potato, and fish cake. It gave us a chance to try some of the Korean foods we might not otherwise be brave enough to try since we weren't familiar with the flavors. The fried rice meals were okay, they tasted like typical fried rice dishes but the shrimp are very small and not deveined.
