Reviews on Korean food in Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. Langkawi is a serene archipelago of 140 islands – only a few of which are inhabited. The largest of these is the eponymous Langkawi Island, which has UNESCO World Geopark status because of its richly populated (by wildlife, that is) conservation areas. The best way to experience these ecological wonders is from high above, on the Langkawi Sky Bridge that stretches above the rainforest. Cheekily-named Pregnant Maiden freshwater lake is a great place to take a dip or play keep-away with the kleptomaniac monkeys.

My husband and I had lunch at the restaurant and it was so good we had to come back a second time which was great as it was the first time we were trying Korean cuisine! Weâd highly recommend the chicken dumplings and the chicken bokeum. The service was better than weâd experienced anywhere before. If weâre ever in Langkawi again weâd definitely eat here again!

Authentic Korean food is freshly served. Korean barbecue is available And even we do serve simple cocktails and drinks at night until 12 am Please visit us if you are staying in langkawi!!
Returning to Langkawi, we were excited to return to Haroo +, as the last time we visited it was absolutely top notch! Unfortunately, it didnât live up to our memories. Last time, the service was second to none, friendly, bubbly, helpful, Korean chaps who made the night and guided you through the food choices...but the service this time was overbearing. We ended up being asked ten times whether the food was ok, by a waiter that needed deodorant, tripped over tables because he was bowing and walking backwards from our table, repeatedly called me sir (Iâm female), and guided us to Korean bbq when they only had four tables capable of this, (less than last time?) which were all taken, meaning the food was cooked in the ovens. We were also moved into a room all by ourselves, bitten alive and left with no ambience. Bring back the Koreans!Korean bbq is all about fab service, bbq, fun ambience and great tasting food. The food was great, but the rest was really disappointing after visiting this place in its peak!

Found this restaurant via Trip Adviser and as we had not tasted Korean food before we thought we would try. The restaurant is situated quite near the weekly night market and easy to find. The interior was spotless along with the tables and chairs. The service was excellent, the waiter being polite, cheerful and efficient. The food was delicious and not expensive. Why are there so few recent reviews about this restaurant? The place is certainly worth a visit when holidaying in Langkawi and I would highly recommend.
