4 varieties of bibimbap and have to say our 65C traditional was fresh and flavoursome. Much better than others we tried in Jeonju. Friendly and quick service. Located diagonally opposite the G hall. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

This is unique place for sundaeIf you haven't tried sundae before, I'll be bit hesitated to tecommend this to you.I love the sundae so I liked this place however my korean friend didn't like this place due to she thinks this place has bit more strong flavour of sundae.

The bibimbab here is pretty good, but the reason that this is definitely the kind of place that guests from abroad would like is because the rice comes separately in a stone pot! What's not to love? The 파전 scallion pancake was also good.We had some trouble mixing our bowls, but then the lady came and showed us how it's done and ended up doing it for us. Great service. Recommended if you're looking for a Jeonju bibimbap experience.

Yetchon Makgeolli

Tucked into the neighborhood of Seosin is this gem of an eatery. The decor outside does not betray the raucous atmosphere inside. Food is ordered based on the number of patrons, and you can specify your own alcohol percentage in your makgeolli, which is served in a beaten teapot. Second orders for more wine are signaled by shaking a smaller sealed teapot. Patrons start out quietly conversing, but the longer one stays the louder one gets. Periodic laughters of unabashed joy rings through the restaurant from both men and women. It's a sight to see and a delight to soak in the ambience and of course enjoy the wonderful array of food. For two people, we got a beef dish, a chicken soup, a fried fish, a vegetable roll, a pancake, mussels, knuckles, and clams. And the makgeolli. Don't forget the makgeolli.

Was recommended to visit this restaurant by my guesthouse owner even though there're lots of Bibimbap restaurants around in Jeonju. This restaurant serves only two types of Bibimbap - Jeonju Bibimbap and Seasoned Raw Beef Bibimbap. Tried the Jeonju Bibimbap and it was really, really delicious! Plus, they serve many side dishes as well, including the steamed egg that tasted legendary!!!! The restaurant is located about 10mins on foot away from Jeondong Catholic Church, you can ask the locals for directions and they'll know it.

My friend told me that locals and visitors line up to eat here. It's a no frills restaurant with only 3 dishes but each is a special experience and this is one place not to miss when visiting Jeonju. The dumplings were some of the best I've had in Korea but the noodles were also the most flavoursome. Service is quick and again no frills but you're here for the food not someone hovering over you. Don't miss it.

We came to Hanguk Jip for their famous bibimbap. We had the Jeonju Bibimbap (cooked beef, metal bowl) and the Dolsot Bibimbap (cooked beef, hot stone bowl). Both were fantastic, we loved our meal. The crisp rice at the bottom of the dolsot bibimbap is tasty, but it really gets stuck in your teeth so I preferred the metal bowl. The sides were great too, I especially liked the corn. We had makgeolli with our dinner - the regular kind, not the one with extra spices - and it was great.

Very delicious Gongnamul! The bowl was served steaming hot which was just comforting on a winter day. The soup rice comes with kimchi, dried seaweed and a sunny-side-up (this egg is itself a delicatessen). Break the dried seaweed into pieces and pour them into the soup, give a little stir and viola, time to enjoy the delicious gongnamul!

C1 ( 2015.05.21 ) This restaurant was famous in Jeonju for bean sprout and rice soup. I visited there for lunch, and the taste was very delicious. The atmosphere was so-so, but the service was very good, because they checked my food, whether I want to more side-dish or not. And must try the favor "moju", beverage made from rice-wine. This alcohol beverage had 1.5 % alcohol, so easy to drink. Excellent...

I doubt the ladies who run this hawker stall know that their place is ranked #1 on TripAdvisor. They get help from an English speaking neighbor whenever there's a breakdown in communication. It seems that they offer two dishes, bean sprout rice soup and bean sprout squid rice soup. Both are lovely and delicious. Add the seaweed for even more flavor in your soup. It's filling and makes a great breakfast before you set off on a day of sightseeing. Don't miss it.
