We went to this place looking for place to eat 'Unagi (eel)'. This Tonegawa River area is well known for Unagi in Kanto area. We tried two restaurants before arriving at Harumoto. First two restaurants has up to an hour waiting time. At Harumoto we were able to be seated in 15 Minutes.Harumoto is a large establishment and looks to be a fixture in the area. Bus loads of customers arrive for gatherings. But they have huge number of people like us, who were just driving by and came in. Four of us had 'Unajyu (Broiled Eel with rice in a box' set. Cooked eel had very thick flesh but it was soft and delicious. Set included an appetiser of crab flakes and winter melon, small dish of pickles and a soup. Service is very efficient and very personal.I will be coming back in winter when Unagi is fat and tasty.
