Little gem which was a good lunch stop between our drive between Obihiro and Sapporo. Tasty onigiri, very kid friendly with toy exercise equipment for outdoor play. Great value for money.

It was a crowded restaurant for Sunday lunch, although I was first in the door. Mixed platter gets you liver, heart, tongue etc. The offal isn't included in the mixed set, but you can add for a very nominal fee. Those that need carbs can add rice in three different bowl sizes, or the way I prefer it, just order noodles to mix into the miso paste innards and offal hot plate and lap all the juices up. Miso shiru can be ordered a la carte, and cold water is free as per usual almost anywhere in Japan. Very friendly waitress showing how to cook the meats, and another behind the counter asking how it is.
