went to young's the other night after shopping hoping to get some good teriyaki. this place could be better but for some reason just seems to not want to improve. the food comes out so fast its either barley done or dripping in sauce and water, its really a hit and miss place. we have been there a few times and always hope this next time its better but its a gamble. I really like the servers, they are very polite and accommodating and that's more the reason we keep going back, for now

About what you would expect for small town sushi. Ingredients used were of better quality and fresh although I wasn't impressed with the quality and presentation of the Ebi which lacked flavor and looked like an amateur prepped it. The rest of the various sushi rolls and bento box were decent and good flavor. Service was slow and poor, with only one waitress working the night we visited and one cook/sushi chef behind the counter. We had to ask for water, got our own napkins and chopsticks, and cleared our dishes to another table so there was room for our entree's. This was the second time that my daughter had visited and had to have them drop items off the bill because they forgot to bring them out or even make them before we were complete with the meal. We wont make any special trips (1.5 hours each way) to visit again but if we are in the area for something else we might give them another try.
Have gone there over the years the last being New Years Eve. My husband and I ordered the "Love Boat" which came with sushi rolls and sashimi. All of it was good. We staggered out of there really full. Went home in time to fall asleep way before midnight....ahhh to be 55 years old. Living large
This is a family owned business that has seen its share of tragedy. The parents were murdered by one of the sons, but the restaurant continues to be operated by the other son. Excellent food, consistent quality. We often stop for take-home meals. The servings are VERY generous. While we usually get the chicken teriyaki, all of their menu choices are good. The Mongolian Beef is excellent, which much meatier portions of meat than other places, and it is not [HOT] so people whose taste buds tend to be on the more delicate side (mine) can enjoy the dish. I HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try.
