Not too many choices for good sushi in Warrnambool so they have the market covered. Good selection of sushi rolls and a quaint seating area if you wish, although they mostly do takeaway. If you're used to the competitive sushi prices in Melbourne this place will seem expensive, but the sushi is fresh and tasty with plenty of choices.

My husband and I went to this restaurant and enjoyed a beautiful meal. We ordered the as crunchy lotus root crisps (huge bowl), steamed seafood soup for 2, mixed tempura vegetables, pork mince with chilli, basil,pickle on bed of rice. The lotus root crisps were delicious, as were the tempura vegetables and the chilli dish were all delicious. The soup was beautiful in flavour but not quite what we expected. The description says steamed seafood, chicken and a variety of mushrooms in a clear broth in a teapot for two. What came out was the tiniest of tiny teapots with a very small cup each to drink this soup from. We expected vegetables etc but it was just the broth. The menu did not make this clear and for $14 we were disappointed,but as I have said the flavour was tremendous.Service very good and ambience lovely.

We lunched here today and things just weren't right. The place was super busy with just one young girl expected to seat us, take our order, dispense drinks including alcohol, deliver our meal clear tables and take our money! She lost our order, forgot the salmon roll Russ asked for, and had to come tell me they were out of veg pancakes. When or two meals finally arrived, the cucumber salad was so fresh and tasty, the fried chicken fresh, crisp and delicious and the meal very cheap. fried chicken fresh, crisp and delicious. She refunded us the money for the salmon roll and when I commented she needed help, she told me it was her first shift. Poor thing-she jst couldn't do all the things she was expected to do. ! I'd go back for the dishes we ordered as they were delicious!
