Patronized this restaurant several times for both lunch and dinner during our 4 days 3 nights stay in vung tau. The menu selection and food proportions are good. Looks like a very popular restaurant as it will be packed if you come late. Very reasonable price and price is without VAT (10% cost saving). Location is easy to find. Highly recommended. Go before 12 noon for lunch or 6 pm for dinner to get good seats.

Wife and I took some of our nieces and nephews here, they seem to love all things Japanese (and Korean) and were excited to try sushi.Was quite surprised at the prices, very expensive for Vung Tau/Vietnam in general, on a par with Sydney!Sushi was OK. Tempura options were good, nice crispy and light batter.Restaurant is nicely decorated downstairs ... we did ask to be seated upstairs in a private room but they were quite small, had a funny smell and I saw a giant cockroach in one of them, so we retreated back downstairs.

I will never go to Sushi Lounge again. I am saddened by this because I loved the food there because it was done very professionally. This time things were not professional at all. Before I placed my order, I observed two workers siting down, one of which was busy drilling his nose for boogers, while the other was sticking his fingers in his mouth to get pieces of food unstuck from between his teeth. As disturbing as this was, I did not draw any conclusions. I drew them though when those hands touched the raw tuna fish that was going to be my meal. I just cancelled the order and walked to the door. I won't be back. Advice: Make sure they wash their hands before you order.
