Ok so this place surprisingly has some good sushi. The anago, is like the candy of the sea. The staff is extremely friendly and free aperitifs. It's just as pricey as the rest of Paris if you eat lots. ;)Thank you for your visit. See you soon.

I discovered this place and went back several times. It is a typical japanese restaurant that serves fresh and large portions (I always get the tempura menu, Hmm). It is really not expensive for the quality. The staff is really nice, they offered me an additionnal chair to put my bag on In summer you have tables outside. Great place to eat with one or 2/3 friends (the place is not very big) before a crazy night on the town. I highly recommend.

Elegantly arranged next to each other, French cutlery and Japanese chopsticks symbolise the spirit of Le Clos Y. Quality ingredients, attentive execution, pursuit of subtlety: Yoshitaka Ikeda underscores once again all the well-established affinities of French and Japanese food. Simpler fare at lunchtime, "surprise menu" at dinner.

We ventured out beyond our usual Parisian walls following our colleague's recommendation and several good reviews "real Japanese food!" The rice was good. But the variety of fish was quite limited. The portions were small and the service... We almost fell asleep waiting over 30 minutes between the appetizer and the main dish. Not sure if we'd ever come back, unless we happen to be in this suburban neighborhood.

Iâm not usually drawn to Asian Fusion cuisine, especially while dining in Paris where I look towards classic French inspired food. However, I am more than happy that I took an evening meal at La Verriere while staying at Hotel Niepce. Like the hotel, this restaurant is brand new and beautiful. I had the chefâs tasting menu and each course was excellent. They have a nice wine cellar on display and small but adequate menu of wines by the glass. My main course was delivered by Chef Kayori Hirano, who welcomed me and thanked me for visiting. Based on so many review decided to venture here, the choices ( compared to good Japanese/ Sushi places) are limited, however quality was good ( had to decide on Salmon). Service was good. If you need authentic Sushi with more choices you should look elsewhere
