Loved this little treasure in Springfield Plaza. Authentic Japanese noodle soup. The menu of sushi and other Japanese snacks such as dumplings, miso soup, and salad looked like excellent offerings and we will definitely go back. Food was served in disposable tableware and a pot of water provided with meal. Very Japanese style quick food in a small shop but unique and a rare find!

Great selection and we were very satisfied with the Drunken Noodle & General Tso Chicken, along with Spring Rolls. Delivery fee very affordable and nice, friendly driver who made speedy delivery in less than the projected 60min (on a Friday night/prime time! !)

Osaka Restaurant

Osaka Japanese restaurant is one of the oldest ethnic restaurants in Springfield Virginia. I have dined at Osaka at many occasions in the past 20 years, but they seem to have gone through a change of ownership or management, and with that change, all the qualities and all the positive things I have said about this restaurant have also gone out the window!I stopped in for lunch today, and immediately noticed the change in the restaurant and the staff. In the old days, there were very warm and welcoming staff members and receptionist who made you feel so welcome and the food and the ingredients were always fresh and exquisite. But today, there was a young Asian woman behind the reception desk who was lukewarm at best. I could also see that the inside of the restaurant needs some improvement. I sat at the sushi bar and the same young woman brought me a menu and a sushi selection sheet and then simply walked away. I placed my order for lunch and tried to order my drink but that was totally ignored. The quality of the food was very substandard. The miso soup was on the cold side and the salad tasted watery and bland. Stale, low low-quality, smelly fish was used for the sushi. I also asked if they had Wi-Fi, first I was told yes, then I was being given a telephone number to use as password, then they told me it was a two letter password, none of which worked, and then at long last another staff member told me they no longer offered Wi-Fi.I don't believe I will ever go back to Osaka Japanese restaurant in Springfield Virginia again, and to be quite honest, I couldn't recommend this place to anyone

I have tried Noodle and Company in Colorado and had a good experience, so I decided to try this chain restaurant while in DC. Big mistake. I ordered the Japanese noodles with Steak. I am from a beef state, but I don't think the Beef should be different in the DC area. What Noodle&Company tries to pass off as steak is insulting. It is a cross between Chef Boy ardee meatballs and shaved meat used in Doner kebabs minus any spices. I know it is a chain restaurant, but I did not expect to have them serve what they did and pass it off as steak. I recommend taking a pass on Noodle&Company if you are looking for good food.

I've been to Kana several times. The establishment is clean and inviting. The service is top notch. Their spicy tuna & salmon rolls are my absolute favorite. Love getting them for a quick lunch. Definitely a goto spot for sushi.

Super good food and service, the staff really cares about their food and customers. The hot tea was great. The menu has a lot of fun original choices as well as the ones you expect. Several, obvious, regulars came in while we were there---to go. They knew what they wanted and it out to them quickly, they sat and waited and talked to them. So they know it is good enough to sit and wait for and like talking to the staff. The restaurant is cozy and fun. Do yourself a favor and go, you will not regret it.
