Along the Truckee River in the tranquil Truckee Meadow is fast-growing Sparks, Nevada, Reno's less flamboyant neighbor to the east. Although home to only one high rise casino, Sparks offers visitors other pleasures with live festivals and events in open air venues, a lively farmers' market, a multiplex theater and less pricey accommodations than its high-rolling neighbor. Its proximity to both Reno's casinos and Lake Tahoe makes Sparks a perfect destination for a Northern Nevada Vacation.

Another great experience at this restaurant @ The Grand Sierra Resort. Once again the wife and I ordered the all you can eat sushi. Great service at a very reasonable price. Very fresh and flavorful.

The service is always excellent and is only surpassed by the quality of the food. Our favorite seating is at the bar because it's entertaining watching the talented chefs hand-craft each roll and you can ask for specialty items like "extra pepper powder" or "more lemon slices". Last night we had some family in town so we made reservations for a table for 7 people. We started with some appetizers of mussels, calamari rings, edamame, and goyza with hot sauce. The apps arrived quickly and were piping hot. The server took our drink orders as we filled out our order sheets for our rolls. I asked for my favorite, "Tha Wingman" which is served with the rounds laid flat and topped with a deep-fried jalapeno slice. I ordered it with pepper powder and it came dusted with just enough. We enjoyed many different rolls and because all 7 people had AYCE, we shared a couple pieces with everyone, just to try all the various flavors. Four of the people from our party had never been to Tha Joint and after eating our fill... they could not stop raving about how fresh and amazing everything tasted. We'll definitely be back!

Great all you can eat sushi!!!!!!!!
Wasn't sure what to expect - but it was an interesting place. First Sushi restaurant I have ever been in where many of the signs were in both English and Spanish. Casual and filled with families with kids - I was surprised. Prices are very good, California roll was $6. All you can eat sushi at lunch is $16 and $23 for dinner. Seemed like most of the people were enjoying the all you can eat menu. Noise level pretty high.
