This location in historic Ouchi Shuku has been there for over 800 years; over 22 generations. Delicious Japanese cuisine served in a traditional Japanese environment in the center of an ancient Japanese village full of history and thatched roofed homes.Excellent service.

Why don't they eat the buckwheat noodles with chopsticks?We tried to eat buckwheat with a long green onion. First we couldn't scoop them with it! Second we couldn't carry them with it to our mouths! We tried again and again. But it in vain. We were disappointed. Why can't we do?But it was so fun and we felt something funny. We burst out laughing in spite of ourselves. Please try!You can enjoy not only buckwheat but also local cuisine. You will find a large kotatsu with futon. There is a river fish beside the fireplace IRORI. We enjoyed char bone flavored SAKE, too .
