In time of graceless Japanese restaurants that are opening every week in São Paulo, this small sushi bar can surprise you by use of good fresh ingredients - tuna, salmon, octopussy, squid etc. There are sushi, sashimi combo and day pre-made dishes. I think it is over-rated by customers- not the best, but a good Japanese cuisine. The overall gastronomic experience is well above the average. There are two floors with few tables, however it is comfortable and cozy. The staff is very kind and helpful. Obviously, there is a cost for good quality, but if you are tired of Japanese food that you would not remember tomorrow, certainly worth a visit to Daiki. This is an amazing place to go dinner or lunch in a neighborhood (Vila Mariana) without decent alternatives. Pleasant surprise!

This place is perfect to enjoy Japanese food. The staff is very cooperative, they speak English as well apart from Portuguese so recommended for international travellers.

Se went for a quick bite after the museum visit. Food was nice with a good variety. A lot of office workers but the service was quick and efficient. There is a Buffet and at the en of the line they will weigth your food and give you a little ticket with the amount. Everything else will be added. You will pay at the end.

Definitely the best japanese restaurant in the town. Really high quality fish, very good prepared. Service is very fest, finally some place that you don't have to wait hours for the order. We will back very soon

This place is crowded and highly recommended by locals. However I think it's highly overrated. We ordered some sushi, sashimi and maki rolls. The fish is very fresh and the presentation is great. Flavor was fine, but don't expect the best sushi in your life. You can find much better (and cheaper) sushi places in Sao Paulo. We also ordered some soba noodles with chicken. I don't think they know what soba means. They gave us "their own take" on soba, with was fried, hard noodles that tasted like crackers, in a super sweet sauce. The soba was offensive. I think that this place is highly rated because it's trendy and it has a cool vibe, but not by the food, which was average. The service, though, was very gentle and friendly.

With a brief 30 hours in São Paulo and only one night for dinner, two work colleagues and I tried Jam Jardins. A short walk from the Renaissance hotel where we were staying. We chose the chefs special - 3 times as a shareable platter. We also started with an order of gyoza. The food was fresh, inventive and delicious. The sushi platter had sashimi (tuna, salmon and white fish) whereas there were approximately 12 different sushi. From the salmon wrapped quailâs egg (our favorite) to foie gras with tuna on it went. The fish was the star with very little rice. Service was attentive and our server had excellent command of English especially as he explained each individual presentation. Price with starter drink, appetizer and chef special, tip and taxes was 220 Real each - about $70 Canadian. Reservations not required for an early sitting but it fills up fast. Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate that you enjoyed your experience with us and hope to see you again when you're back in São Paulo.

20 years of tradition in the art of making sushi. Units in Aclimação, Moema, Morumbi, Perdizes, Santana and Vila Mariana...
Professional service, fresh sushi, quick service and upper class decor. You can go with your family and friends and enjoy the rodizio for R$48. There is a great variety of sushi to choose from and everything tastes diffirent. Worth your money

Extremely overpriced for what they serve. The sushi options are very limited, quality is OK but hardly any creativity. Ate here twice during my recent stay at the Renaissance because I was very tired and too lazy to step out - Regretted it both the times. Very Salmon and Tuna heavy... They just did not have wider fish selection. Charges were comparable to some of the top end sushi restaurants but the value I got was probably less than half of what I paid !!! So, kinda feeling cheated and disappointed... The bar is nice with some decent selection of beverages but the review is more about the sushi and food options !

My first sushi experience so o can't compare food quality. Overall the restaurant was nice, good ambient and looked clean. Food was good although I'm not a sushi expert. Was not that expensive, specially for a rodizio. There's WiFi on the restaurant, parking wasn't a problem at lunch time. Felt the staff was too serious and not very sympathetic.
