I make it a habit of staying in Pasadena each month JUST to dine at Osawa. It was a mess last Sunday. They sat us quite late for our reservation, when we were finally seated well after our 6:45 reservation they were out of ALL the whole fish, the bagna cauda and more. The portions were noticeably smaller and the staff clearly overrun. I am so sad as finding this quality of Japanese food is tough - I donât know if I would return.

A choice of 3 different style ramen, with many options for added ingredients and a number of other menu items (including dessert). Draft and bottled beer. Very friendly and efficient staff. Casual setting. If a line, it moves quickly. Highly recommended.

This is a family owned and run restaurant and everything shows it. The chefs are fantastic and the sushi is the best. My grandson (age 7) gobbled down 16 Salmon sushi at one sitting. Just let them give you what is best. But Dynamite is my favorite.
