Unfortunately, my review is not based so much on his food but based on the restaurants layout. I found the, uncomfortable bar stools, narrow, nearly impassable pathway, and torturous dining tables to be more than I can handle. Anyone standing taller than 5 foot 7 and weighing more than 140 lb would find sitting at these dining tables to be laborious and uncomfortable. These things made the restaurant so uncomfortable to patronize that I probably would not go back based on this alone. I did however, order a bowl of poke which was not bad although overpriced and a small portion. The fish was not overly mushy for being frozen tuna with a sauce that did compliment it well. All this atop a bid of seaweed salad was a nice little snack but, at $15, probably will not be on my check the next time. I did not taste the sushi rolls but they look like they were made in a professional manner. I can only assume, based on the quality of the tuna in my poke, that they would be passable although, not great. If I was to order anything from this restaurant again, I would order it take out and find somewhere else in the casino to sit down.

If you want Japanese food other than sushi, I wouldn't recommend this place. Tempura was mediocre, sunomono didn't even have any vinegar taste, and no toasted sesame seeds. Mizo soup was just a bland broth with very tiny chunks of tofu. Ebi Furai was heavily breaded in panko crumbs, and obviously out of a frozen food box, served with a tankatsu sauce intended for pork, not sea food. Add slow service and inattention (no chop sticks provided, had to go get from server, away from table). Being a small town is not an excuse for poor quality. Disappointing.

This tiny restaurant near the Dollar Tree is so good! Teriyaki chicken, beef, port. Noodles or rice. Many other menu options. When I need to take a dish to a group gathering, I often order the teriyaki chicken by itself, without rice and salad. They add several containers of sauce. It is delicious! They have a few tables for those who wish to eat in, but many patrons take their food to go. Nice people, hard workers, and good food.
