Located just off busy Queens Blvd. this cozy unassuming Japanese restaurant offered Sushi, Ramen and also had Korean dishes, including Pho. I however went for the reasonably priced Lunch Roll and was not disappointed: Three rolls, of my choice, a crisp iceberg lettuce salad with cucumbers and tomatoes was satisfying and reasonably priced at $9.95. The spicy tuna was zesty with just the correct amount of heat, the eel avocado roll was scrumptious; nice blend of salty, creamy fresh ingredients. Rolls were generous and not overly ricey (not too much rice).

We love this place! We visit almost weekly..we've done happy hour which ends at 7 and also later hours. Food is always fresh and delicious! Workers are good especially my favorite girl AnnaBaby who is the best! The drinks are awesome too! I always order a mojito and my hubby orders pins colada which are both great drinks..the place is decorated beautifully and they even have tv's by the bar to have dinner and watch the games. The music is always awesome too! Old jams that I love! This is by so far my favorite sushi spot! Mmm i could go for some right now lol..Go for it! You won't regret it ;)Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. It is always a pleasure reading about our customers visits to Mito and we are so glad you enjoyed your time with us. We look forward to sharing your feedback with our team members and we hope to have the pleasure of serving you again soon!

Inspired by Head Chef Sato's French roots and love of Japanese food, SATO Japanese Cuisine specializes in a thoughtful and artistic fusion of Japanese & French cuisine. Fresh ingredients and specialty in-season fish are imported from all over the world, f
We've been coming to Sato for many years. Food quality and freshness are always great, and prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. They have a small room for parties, it fits 16-18 people. My favorite rolls: Volcano, Dancing Eel, Rainbow. Favorite appetizers - spicy kayaki (broiled seafood and mushrooms with spicy mayo) and Eel with Foie Gras in Asian vinegar sauce. They are not cheap, but well worth the money.

I was really hungry and wanted something fresh healthy and not to heavy. This restaurant was exactly the right place for a quick lunch. The food was good and healthy. The only contra is the athmosphere...it's somehow dismal. But not important if you don't want to relaxe there but are only focused on good food.

I rate this sushi restaurant 4.5/5 because they make great sushi at a great price but of course as much as there is something unique of being small the size isn't the best to sit and eat. If you go on a busy night you most won't get a table. However you can order and that's what I recommend. I would definitely eat here again.

Hospitality of friends in US makes me happy and.... hmm... FAT!!! Yeah! What you expected? America is state of food. Many kinds of foods and we decided to take break between seafoods and beefsteaks...So we explored another nice place serving with vegetarian food and what is surprising with fish and meat taste...We have tested "eel" (not real) smoked and grilled and other stuff and it was really like real fish or meat.If someone willnot say that it is vegetarian and make from soybean you will not thing that you are not eating meat.P.S. what a nice guy manager of restaurant... personally checking are you enjoyed meal and notocing you on how it is cooked...

Great Sushi selections and lovely atmosphere with great service. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. This restaurant was recommended to us by a LGA worker since we have a 9 hours layover. Such a wonderful place. I cant find any Japanese restaurant that served sukiyaki anymore in the SanFran area so imaging my surprise when I find it. Very reasonable price. Our bill comes to $52.00 for 2. Will be back when we travel to NYC again.
