Stopped here for lunch after reading great reviews. The setting is modern and comfortable. The service was very good. However the food was a disappointment. We each had a deluxe bento box. The fried items, including tempura, were cold and greasy. It seemed to have been precooked. The sushi was average. The sashimi was very good. The rice was dry. The best item was the spicy edamame. Maybe it was a bad day!

We went here last night as a family of four. They sat us at the counter which was fine. You select your broth, your noodles, and your protein and they bring you garnishes and vegetables. The soup making experience is fun. The only drawback for me was the lack of space. Everything is on platters and there is not a lot of room with the cooking station and people on either side of you.

Came here to sample some Japanese food. We ordered uni sashimi, I wouldn't recommend it, it's not as fresh as I hoped it would be, we also have agedashi tofu which I thought was not just okay, tofu was not cook with soft silken ones so it was not buttery soft. Soft shell crabs was very crispy but dry . However, I do like the Hamachi Kama ( it's a yellow fin tuna neck collar) it was grilled and seasoned just right. The meat is so tender and soft. Would recommend this dish .

My daughter and I love their sushi--fresh and flavorful. The bento lunch specials have a nice variety, the shumai is particularly tasty as is the teriyaki. My friends love the fried rice plates and the sweet potato fries. I'm getting a group together to go for hot pot when I have the chance. The staff is very considerate and the service is very good.

Jimmy the owner has the best and freshest sushi in Quincy. His shop, Beni Cafe has other delicious appetizers such as his shrimp spring rolls and pork dumplings. His beef teppanyaki is so incredible with the rich sauce over rice. He has actually delivered a sushi platter to my house for a party and everyone went crazy. He did a shape of an eel in the center of the platter and it looked real. Great fresh food.
