My wife and I stayed overnight in Pueblo and wanted to experience this place, as we had heard a lot about it. The service, food and atmosphere were outstanding. I had a mix up on size of my Sashimi and the chef prepared a complete additional number of slices for me, without charge, to make sure I was satisfied. Sushi was fresh and very tasty

Saw this restaurant while on the Riverwalk. Although fairly unassuming on the outside, the food was great. Try the Poke salad

Our regular sushi place was closed for remodel so we gave Suehiro a shot. The restaurant is kind of cool and different looking, but the tables don't have chairs. They have built in carpeted booths. Not unlike the old carpeted blocks you'd sit on to put on your skates at Bossanova. (You good ol' Puebloans know what I mean.) They have a useless step up, but you basically have to crawl over it. Once you're legs are in, you will find that it is an odd height and just set up in a weird way that puts all your weight on your midthighs. Very uncomfortable. The other thing that was odd was that they didn't give us plates for our appetizers or our sushi. It was awkward and messy. The sushi wasn't bad. It was pretty tasty actually, although it was very different looking from the sushi we have had before. It wasn't pretty, however and our rolls were falling apart. It wasn't a bad experience. It just wasn't as comfortable for us as our usual sushi joint. Once our regular place is open again, we probably won't be back here.
