Neighbors have been raving about a new Sushi restaurant in Norton Commons and had to try it since I'm a Sushi lover. Ordered a Salmon Roll as a starter. The portion size was generous with the "right" proportion of fish and rice. The Chef and waitress asked how I liked it and seemed genuinely interested in my opinion. Second plate was a "Classic Rainbow Roll" to sample their fish. Was pleasantly surprised that there were five kinds of fish on top instead of a typical three plus shrimp and avocado. The portion size was very generous and the fish was fresh and tasty. Also noticed the chef was thoroughly wiping down the knife between fish cuts which is a very good thing. Again the staff was eager for my opinion (which they already knew since my eyes were rolling back with each bite). Finished with Mochi Ice Cream at the suggestion of the waitress. It was new and wonderful, but not too heavy. They have free broadband Spectrum WiFi. Very fast. The wonderful food, friendly staff, attention to detail, and the overall cleanliness made for a truly excellent dining experience.

The first time we visited Arata we brought along a Japanese exchange student. She loved the place as much as we did! The food is outstanding and the portions are good... not too small, not overly large. The decor here is very nice, too. The lighting and deep, rich colors give the place a quiet ambience. Which is why it is so disconcerting to have TV screens tuned into sports events on in the background. They weren't always there, and I understand a business has to do what it has to do to attract patrons, but it is too bad. If not for the sports bar atmosphere the TVs give, I would say this is a great place for a special occasion dinner or lunch. It is still a nice place but, if I were celebrating an anniversary or a birthday, I'd find something different. If you don't mind the TVs, the food is scrumptious and Arata is well worth the visit.

Come by your local Noodles & Company at 4302 Summit Plaza Drive, , Louisville where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
We look for ways to eat delicious food healthy -- without high carbs/calories. I was super excited when Noodles started offering zucchini noodles as a substitute for regular pasta - it's delicious and healthy. I've tried it with the chicken/tomato sauce and also with pad thai. My kids love the regular pasta, salads and the drink station. Noodles has something for everyone. Brock, the manager, and other employees are very friendly and nice to talk with. Also, the bathrooms and dining room are kept spotless. In the summer, it's fun to sit outside on the patio. Definitely a family 'go-to' for us.

Love this place!!! The whole family loves Tokyo, even the work groups I take out to lunch love Tokyo! Family run, Roy and Jessica are always there and do their best to know their regular customers. Uni is always fresh, Hirame is best on the planet, if they have it, it's fresh and delicious. Oh, and don't forget the ginger salad, I could live on it alone!
