Koku

I have been in Koku several times already and it is no doubt the best Japanese in Pamplona (the town Barañain is next to Pamplona and it is easy to reach by bus, taxi, walking....). The restaurants is a small place hidden in a square.Food is very good quality. Tuna is exceptional, tuna tataki especially recommended. It is not so easy to find so nice red tuna around. The rest of the fish is also very good, very fresh and sushi is very well presented. Options include some teriyaki, noddles, etc for people who do not like raw fish.Sake is very good and they have many Japanese beers.Service is extremely nice (not very common in the area either). They are very smiley, helpful and quick. Place tends to be full in the weekends, so reservations is recommended. They usually do two seatings in busy nights. Restaurant also has take away.
