Went to this restaurant chain again because I really miss their roasted tea ice cream which I canât find anywhere else in Australia or Canada. It was so disappointed that the ice cream machine was under maintenance. This is the first time having dinner at this restaurant. Certain items are pricey. The soft shell crab salad doesnât offer full crab but a lot of veggies instead, same situation as beef tataki salad, only few small pieces of beef. Deep fried lots roots isnât bad at all, quite a big portion. It was a hot day (37c) but this restaurant doesnât offer air conditioning, so it was quite hot. Be prepared for that. Good customer service.
In the middle of geekdom there has arrived a Japanese restaurant, which is a bit different than the usual run of the mill souvlaki or cake shop. It's small and has a shusi train and a few tables, limited menu but delicious food ,when we called in they had been open for a couple week.I really do hope this restaurant survives as it makes a change from the usual fair available in Eaton Mall,we will definitely e back.

We had dinner at this place. This is new Japanese restaurant in Chadstone shopping centre. Cuisine is modern , so is interior design. Service was absolutely professional and almost invisible. We had eggplant miso, baked scallops, four gras chawanmushi and chips for entree. For main we choose crabs somen, Japanese chicken curry and salmon anytime. We finished our dinner with boba cake, strawberry, basil and figs cake and firework cake for desert. All dishes were extremely delicious. Only one negative point that I had to pay additional 10% holiday surcharge.

I've been here a couple of times now with friends and we've loved it every time. The food is so delicious and they have vegetarian options as well. I recommend for starters the wings and edamame with plum salt! You can't go wrong! We always order plates to share as it's the perfect way to enjoy everything but if you just want a main grab yourself the bipambop! Then help yourself to an adorable size ice cream

Located on the 1st level (Dining Terrace) of Chadstone Shopping Centre, Marae Izakaya is a modern kaiseki sushi restaurant. Marae means 'unique' or 'rare' and Izakaya is a Japanese gastro-pub. Together, Marae izakaya is a fine dining restaurant with a uni
Weâve been here many times for the sushi train. Great fun. Today we had a table instead with a tablet to make orders directly from the selection shown. Other special sushi were able to be ordered à la carte via the friendly waitress. We always have an assortment of sashimi and sushi, and whatever else which took our fancy. Delicious as well as healthy!Once again a very pleasant dining experience.
