Chef Jordan's wonderful talented gift has arrived in North Vancouver, blending tasty fusion of Japanese and Korean inspired cuisine that is sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you smiling for more.
You can go to the many budget sushi places on Lonsdale and save a couple of dollars but if you want excellent sushi and something different go to Jordan Sushi. The service is good and the speciality rolls are well worth a try. It was my go to place when I lived a couple blocks away and I still go there when I am in the neighbourhood.

Mr. Sushi provides high quality sushi and Japanese hot foods. We started our business in the heart of Lynn Valley, North Vancouver in the early 90's as the first sushi restaurant in town. With over 20 years of experience serving local residents, Mr. Sushi
If the measure of a good restaurant is judged in terms of the quality and variety of the food served, the presentation and service provided by the staff, and value for money. Then Mr. Sushi is second to none and five start all the way.

Had heard about this place from friends, and finally got a chance to try it. Full disclaimer: I don't like sushi, so can't speak to the quality of any of those dishes, but have tried almost everywhere else on the North Shore for teriyaki etc. We arrived early on a Friday night in January, and it was quiet but filled up VERY quickly and there was a constant stream of people arriving to pick up "to go" orders. Obviously this place is very popular with what I assume are neighbourhood regulars.Very clean, cozy space - fantastic staff, very attentive and we never waited more than a few seconds for any refills or service. Our party ordered teriyaki and donburi, and both were excellent - tempura was light and crispy, very fresh. We find many places don't change the oil often enough and the batter can get greasy, but not this one - it was one of the best we've had. Miso soup was delicious, teriyaki was perfectly cooked and portions were good for the value. Everything was beautifully presented and we were even given a free "sample" appetizer of tofu (which was excellent). I understand it is family run - we felt very welcomed, and really enjoyed our meal, even though we didn't stay long. Would absolutely go back for another dinner - location is a bit off the beaten path but that doesn't seem to keep anyone away, this place was busy by the time we left.

Open for just a short time, this new Restaurant has an incredible menu full of surprises. Being a regular diner at Japanese Restaurants I would place it up with the very best in the city, let alone North Vancouver. Charming servers, a customer focused and connected Manager/Proprietor and great quality of fresh products. The menu has just about everything on it to appeal to the casual diner and sophisticated customer. I have dined there now 6 times and every time have tried new dishes which are simply delectable.

Went here a few years ago and it was the best sushi in town. Just went back, and never will again...both of us got sick from the rolls as they were not very fresh.

Closed until Nov 15...visited in October from a local merchant recommendation. Very busy place with unique dishes. Ordered a sushi share platter to go and it was very generous in content, nice presentation and at a reasonable price. Have been trying to go back for more but they were closed for a month. Will be back on Nov 15 for more!!

After arriving later in the evening we were hungry and ready for sushi. This little restaurant has an inviting decor and menu to match. Everything is fresh and rich in flavor. Many house made specials such as the herring and spicy tuna both were outstanding. All the dishes were well thought out and artfully presented. Overall very impressive.

Osaka Sushi located in a Deep Cove of North Vancouver. Just a short distance walk to the deep tranquil water of Burrard Inlet. The restaurant has a sparkling wholesome setting and charming decoration. The service was prompting cordial and professional. The servers were warm, friendly and responsive. We, a group of friends/alumni, visited it when we were touring North Vancouver. We enjoyed very much the lunch boxes we ordered!

I have been a regular habitue of Hachi Hana for over 18 years, and it's still the best, most consistent and creative sushi on the North Shore. It's chef's create wonderful taste tantalizing dishes and appetizers that always please. I have tried several other sushi bars over the years, but always come back here for the best.

If you like authentic sushi, this is the best restaurant on the North Shore. The dishes are simple, fresh and divine. I love to eat at a busy sushi restaurant; you know that everything is fresh. This is a hidden gem and should be treasured by locals. I drive from West Van to eat here. Great job.
