Tai Chi Restaurant is a sushi and chinese food restaurant situated in the beautiful residential suburb of Tokai. Our restaurant offers " world class " and affordable price sushi. There are wide variety of mouth watering chinese foods on the menu as well.

There are several positive reviews on this restaurant which are worth reading to get a balanced view of things. The restaurant has a nice feel to it and we were treated with respect by the staff there. Clean. The people of Tokai and around are fortunate to have this type of mixed Japanese/Chinese restaurant on their doorstep. I wish we did. Tai Chi has an interesting logo. A Yin Yang type graphic with fish in the two opposing fields. Quite good parking around. Enjoy.

This was our second visit and we were as impressed as on our first visit. We were given a delicious complimentary bowl of spicy seafood bisque on arrival (very welcome on an icy Cape Town day). We then shared a plate of perfectly cooked prawns, served with the most delicious soya sauce-based sauce and fabulous egg-fried rice. The staff were attentive and efficient (and I loved the teapot they brought my tea in).

A really lovely atmosphere especially outside in the garden area. Service from Bronwen was excellent! The sushi is fantastic and very well priced. We (7of us) ordered a variety of different platters and from the specials of the day and everything was superb.
