Imagine you're in Tokyo dining at an enclave of modern Japanese expression. At the centre of a huge marble bar you watch head chef, Nobuyuki Ura, and his team serenely at work, precisely turning fresh fish into edible works of art. Welcome to sushi e. Adj
A top end Japanese restaurant with a very long and very cool marble bar that wraps around the sashimi and sushi chefs who create the magic !Itâs been a long while since I was last here and itâs nice to see that no complacency has set in.This is not a big Restaurant , however itâs attached to Hemmesphere ( fabulous bar /lounge ) where one can sip on a cocktail and also order from the Restaurant Any-who , back to the fabulous Sushi e. The food is outstanding . The bonito sashimi was sublime (the dressing to die for) ; the agedashi tofu was soooo yummy ; all of the various raw dishes and sushi were fresh / crisp / delicious.Favourite of the night were these irresistible lettuce tempura Balmain bug cups . Ohh and then of course there was the delicious and simply cooked ( to perfection ) beef .What stood out the most was the freshness of produce and the fabulous flavours . Beautiful balance .Service is top notch. The sushi chefs and floor staff make you feel very special . Good knowledge of wine . Very professional. Very efficient .Overall a fabulous choice if you are serious about Japanese Food .

A friend really wanted to get here for lunch. I can see why! The line was out the door to the street when we arrived. We took a "sharing table" seated with 2 other people. The restaurant is small, seems like a mostly takeout restaurant. So I had katsu curry. Reminds me of Japan. The staff even speak Japanese. The food was delicious. My friend had sushi and a bento box. It looked lovely. I'd absolutely get back here again.

We are now renovating. The restaurant will be open in November 2019. The new restaurant will be owned and operated by the Mino Japanese Resutaurant in Mosmon.
This is an excellent Japanese restaurant. It's interior is tastefully decorated, the servers are friendly & competent, the food is of high quality while the prices are very good. We had the 6 course set menu for $50/ person and were very happy with both the presentation of the food & the taste.

The reviews are consistently good concerning this restaurant. We were looking for something dependable. It was noisy however any popular restaurant is. The food was excellent. The disappointment occurred upon reviewing the invoice to find that despite only drinking the house beers we had been charged corkage.Had I not kept and reviewed the invoice for this review I would have missed the charge.Moral, check the bill.

Set within an impressive designer space in the historic Argyle Precinct at The Rocks, Saké Restaurant & Bar serves up contemporary Japanese fare created by sushi master Shimpei Hatanaka, who draws on authentic Japanese training to present an outstanding m
We had a good experience here. It is expensive and overpriced-only real issue. However all of the food was outstanding-from appetizer to dessert. Drinks were delicious too, albeit overpriced. We didn't have any issues with the service, I thought it was pretty good. Waitress introduced herself and was mostly attentive throughout the night. Atmosphere was awesome.

We chose this restaurant because it is across the road from the Cremorne cinema. Luckily we decided to book because I doubt if we would have got in otherwise. It is obviously very popular on a Saturday night. When we arrived it was chaotic with lots of us waiting for a table as the staff were trying to make tables available by getting people to pay and leave. We had brought our own bottle of wine. A good idea because they charge a lot for wine but the corkage is only $3.50 per person. Surprisingly they didn't put the corkage on the bill until I pointed out their omission.Like many restaurants nowadays, it was very noisy. It's only a small restaurant and there are no carpets or curtains. It's hard to hear what other people are saying. This is not the place for a quiet intimate dinner. Then again, it became obvious why it's so popular because the food is great. It's not as genuine Japanese as you would get in Tokyo but for an Australian restaurant it is just what people want.We probably won't come back again unless it's a quiet night. I doubt if this restaurant has too many quiet nights because people know how good the food is.Probably best for a younger clientele.

Exquisite Japanese subtleties and french flair are the promise and the promise is delivered in abundance. A simple suburban streetscape and decor may not adequately set the scene for the taste sensations that abound. Shared plates or bespoke dishes - your choice. We tried sublime octopus, mushrooms and eggplant for starters followed by gnocci (japanese? french?) and scampi - if we had not shared, it would have led to jealousy and food fights.

We were recommended this restaurant at the end of the street we were staying on. Simple food, communal tables and tasty food. Be prepared to queue, but it's worth it.

Ate at Infuzions for first time in a year. Had made online booking which they had not received (suggest checking) - but they found us a table. Food was good but I felt prices had gone up a little. $170 for 4, byo wine. Not over the top but up a little. Always nice environment and friendly service.
