Discover Restaurants offering the best Japanese food in Mestre, Province of Venice, Italy. While Venice’s mainland suburb of Mestre has a history and character all its own dating back to medieval times, it owes its growth and fortune to its more powerful offshore neighbor. Unfortunately, it’s everything Venice is not: modern, industrial and cheap. But while they may not compare to the romantic canals of Venice, Mestre does have attractions of its own, including the Torre (Tower) dell'Orologio and the Duomo (Cathedral) di San Lorenzo, located on its town square, Piazza Ferretto.

5 starsOur first time traveling to Venice was confusing. We hopped on a bus and struggled to communicate with others to find where we were going. Once off the bus, we saw Gynza and walked in to ask for help. We saw they were busy so we quickly exited. We stood outside feeling lost when the owner came out to help. We had trouble communicating till she disappeared inside and reimerged with her phone and helped guide us to our Airbnb. Once we were settled we came back to eat. The food was(is) phenomenal! With so much to try, we came back on our last day. After we had finished our second meal she even offered us transportation to the train station. The best service paired with big hearts helped make our experience, trip, to Venice one for the books. Cheers to life long health, happiness, and prosperity. Thank you for everything!Ciao!

Amazing, truly amazing!!!Staff is warm blooded, sweet and very forthcoming. Despite a little language barrier with English which was overcome through smile and laughter, service was quintessential.Food quality, serving and presentation hereof was simply outstanding.

We were with two people who are living in Mestre, who assured us that this is the best sushi place in town - and we weren't disappointed. Excellent food.Seats outside, non air-conditioned area inside, air-conditioned area inside. The restaurant does mainly sushi, but also Chinese food, and I went for the latter as I prefer Chinese.Friendly, professional service. We went for the â¬20.90 eat-as-much-as-you-want dinner (drinks and sweet excluded), which is probably an excellent option for expensive sushi, but it's worth considering à la carte if you prefer Chinese.

It was quite expensive ($63 for 4 rolls and 3 drinks), but the sushi were really tasty. If we ordered before 22:30, we would have all-you-can-eat. However, we arrived after that time, so we had to order a-la-carte. Sashimi were fresh and tasty too. The interior is very beautiful, the restaurant is clean and Japanese people work there. Also I saw Japanese among customers, usually, it's a good sign.
