Covington Teriyaki is often my choice for a weekday lunch. Call ahead service is fast and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. But best of all the food is good, too! Menu choices are generally typical for a teriyaki restaurant with some vegetarian choices. Surprisingly, the fish and chips offering is delicious and definitely worth a try.Seating is the typical strip-mall ho hum experience but then, again, you're not there for the ambiance. Open every day but Sunday 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Your first warning should be the health department review that gave it an ok, vs good or excellent.Made a reservation for 8, got seated. The waiter, possibly related to the manager, came to take our orders. The apps, sushi and rolls came out fine. This is supposed to be a steakhouse with a good hibachi presentation. Not the case. Waiter boy screwed up every order, so that the hibachi cook didnât have what he was supposed to. The show was actually the cook running back to the kitchen 4 times for missing items.(shrimp, fried rice, chicken)The cook was frustrated and I thought he went back to beat waiter boy up. Bowls that held steamed rice werenât rinsed properly, so the rice tasted like soap. Unless the rice is supposed to taste like soap. The cooking ingredients are flavorless. Lots of oil, too much soy, and a big pile of flavored margarine. Too much grease, resulting in most of us experiencing different levels of gastric distress.Waiter boy forgot drinks, screwed up the dinner from start to finish, then hid behind the protector momager. The worst restaurant experience weâve had in a long time.

Had such an amazing time at dinner last night. Our server Olivia was so sweet and really friendly. We tried a bunch of different rolls, and I definitely liked The Rainier roll as well as the trapper roll the best. It doesn't hurt either that they have an all you can eat sushi every day for only $25. I can't wait to be back again!!!

We walked in on a Saturday night and we were the only ones here, starting to wonder if we made a mistake. Lady asked if we wanted our order to go or eat there and after we said there she seated us & handed us menu's so we didn't have to read from the menu above the cashier. While we were sitting there several others came in to get orders to go.I happened to get the special that day. It was teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and crab rangoon. It came with rice and soup. There was way too much of it and for the first time in ages I had to take a doggie bag home and it was enough for 2 more meals. After I told her I needed a doggie bag she took the container and went in the back room ( I thought that was strange) however she comes out with another scoop of rice to go along with my chicken that I was taking home. One of my friends decided to go here after I told her about it and she said: It was wonderful! And yes, HUGE portions! Items ordered were Chicken Stir Fry, Chicken Curry, Chicken and Beef Teriyaki Combo and the Appetizer Sampler. ALL were wonderful! We will be back!!! So you can see all portions are huge and fabulous.Oh by the way I can't remember what my husband ordered but he too said it was fabulous and commented how it was huge; however he was able to eat all of his portion.

What a gem! This sushi chef knows his fish and cut. Even the miso soup tastes freshly homemdae, I loved the seared salmon sushi, vegetable roll (best ever), salmon (teriyaki sauce on the side) bento. The staff are friendly, and the place is quite kid friendly. The restaurant has a nice asian decor, and k-pop music video playing on a large screen. We love the experience and the food!

There are basically three Terikai places to eat in Maple Valley and Himitsu is the most consistent with portions and quality. The meats are always cooked just right. I always order take out and the food is always ready for pick up based on the time they are very friendly. the side salad they provide is always fresh!
