The Rising Bun is a fresh take on Asian food--chef-crafted, made-to-order dishes that are the "greatest hits" of Asian cuisine under one roof--steamed buns, poke, ramen, salads, and desserts--served in a hip & social atmosphere.
My husband loves authentic baozi from mainland China, and this version is way better! The steamed buns are used like a flatbread with filling sandwiched inside. The flavor combinations and ingredients are fabulous. Fun presentation, pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this great new restaurant!
We are just taking over this business several months ago because the previous owner has to finish his degree. But We are continuously providing high quality sushi and sashimi. We have variety sushi rolls for you to choose from. Our hibachi chefs will prep
From the opening of the door, Tokyo Steakhouse was friendly. The owner was just inside doing some minor maintenance, but took time to pop up and greet me and welcome me. The staff, no matter what table they were serving was equally friendly. The restaurant was clean throughout and the food was fresh, excellently prepared and temperatures were perfect. One of our party of 7 was celebrating his 11th birthday and John catered to him at our request to ensure it was a celebration. In addition to excellent chef skills, John put on quite a show. Iâve witnessed many of the Japanese chefs do this type of entertainment and John was among the best. But the food was the main reason we enjoyed our evening. Really enjoyed our steaks and shrimp and scallops and chicken and fried rice as well as the show. Now they serve lots of sushi here, but our family has not indulged yet, though we may try in a future dinner. They did give me a military discount and our birthday boy was honored by an Ice Cream desert on the house. We immensely enjoyed the food, the staff, the talents and the atmosphere. We will return

Dinner for ten after graduation. We were beat and it was nice to relax and watch the meal being prepared. The group next to us never interacted with the chef but we did and he put on a better show for us. Fried rice and soup were the best items. The main course was tasty but slightly bland. I didn't have to pay the bill so it tasted even better to me. Age range was 69 to 8 and all seemed to enjoy the fun.

In all my time of reviewing and visiting a restaurant to dine, never have I walked out of one without any food. After an hour of waiting for sushi I had no choice but to walk out. I simply wanted a nice meal. Plenty of options but when I saw all-you-can-eat sushi for $18.95 I figured I try it. I was only the 5th dining guest on the restaurant and then families started walking in and tables started filling. It was 7pm when I walked in and 8pm when I walked out only to have a glass of Arnold Palmer which I made myself cause the waiter had no clue what it was. My initial walk in should've been a telling sign when the host asked "what are you here for?" I was shocked at the question that of course I had to say, um to eat. It lacked service for sure. I don't expect much when I dine out but at least the bare minimum be service with a smile and not "what are you here for" attitude. I can't comment on the food since I was never served any. Based solely on service, I do not recommend spending any money here. Why waste time?!

The restaurant is an open dining room with no ambiance, and it's typically loud. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the tables are always sticky on the edges... like the varnish is breaking down. The food is served to you in Styrofoam containers, and while usually tasty and reasonably good quality, for the price, it would be nice to see something nicer. For the price, there are better sushi choices in the area.

So glad to have this sushi restaurant in Lehi. Executive, Playboy and Vegas rolls were delicious!! And decently priced for quality rolls. Prompt and friendly service. Came at 5:30pm on a Saturday and it was empty (packed when we left, with people waiting at the door.)

Koi has consistently been a good experience for sushi in Utah County, Utah. The service is typically really good, and the quality of food is good too. This is one of the few restaurants (other than bar and grill places) where you can get a glass of wine in American Fork, and their selection is small, but good. Still my go-to for sushi in North Utah County.

First time there ( our other favorite sushi place was way backed up) and we were not disappointed. The service was very prompt and friendly and attentive. The sushi was fresh and reasonable. The names of rolls were similar to rolls at other places which made it nice so you didn't have to figure out what was what. The rolls were tightly wrapped which for me is important as there is nothing worse than picking up a roll and having it fall apart. My wife had the chicken yakisoba, one of her favorites things to order at other places, and said this was the best she has had. So, for a "shot in the dark" this turned into a very pleasant and enjoyable dinner with friends. We will be returning.

Chicken and vegs were sent back due to being over cooked, dry, and cold. After being sent back to kitchen, and upon returning, the new meal was not much different. Sauce had little flavor. Plus it was expensive for a large family who seemed happy with the sushi. I donât want to go back. My mouth has the taste of grease with no great taste. I guess youâd say Iâm not kissable right now. Service was incredible. Richard-While we are happy that your service was incredible and the sushi was delicious, we apologize that your chicken and veggies were not of the high quality for which we are known. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you so that we may provide for you the the high quality dining experience for which we are known.
