It's a cool and friendly place in a recently redeveloped block in Otsuka. Each of the restaurants in the block has a different speciality - this is horsemeat and dashi, though there are lots of other tapas-style choices (not being a horsemeat fan, I avoided it and still ate well). The food is tasty, nicely presented and there's a great choice of sake. They have a full and helpful English menu.

i now know why there's always a queue to this little shop. i went early today and managed to get a seat immediately.i ordered oloong chai which arrived bottled by coca cola! and the jumbo gyoza with pork, garlic, ginger, chives are not to be trivialised - they truly are massive, tasty and cheap for yen 360!
We serve sake at very reasonable price. In this restaurant, the price of sake is about half to one-third lower than the other restaurant in japan. Of course, there are only famous sake, no cheap kind, for example, DASSAI is treated as a kind of high grade
Take your time to taste good sake really cheap! The staff is really friendly and can help you to choose the best option. Really nice place to taste something different.ã¹ã¿ãããæ¥æ¬é ã«è©³ããã®ã§ããããªããã¨ãªã©ã¯ãæ°è»½ã«ã質åãã ããï¼é«è©ä¾¡ããæ¥åºæé£ããããã¾ãï¼

I highly recommend that any visitors to Tokyo visit an authentic ramen restaurant. They are on every block! I found this restaurant on google maps, and heard that it was a good chain, so we tried the Ikebukuro shop. All menus have English translations, from the machine where you choose and pay, to the customization menu. Our tonkatsu ramen was excellent, but what I liked the most is that you are able to customize your ramen as to seasoning, noodle firmness, broth, toppings, etc...I also like how they have single-seat booths with dividers. I found it to be so charming. I will definitely return and get a spicier version next time!

The four of us ate here on a Monday night. Yes, there was a long line (but that's usually a good sign). Because of the crowd, we were asked if it was OK if we split up to get seated faster, and we agreed. Shortly after eating, however, the hostess moved us so we could be together at the bar, which was very nice. The food was excellent, and the food ordering was a lot of fun -- and the iPad ordering system had an English menu. And most surprising was when our massive stack of plates was totaled at the end, the price ended up being much less than we anticipated.

We were shopping in Ikebukuro and one of my Japanese friends recommended me this place. When we arrived we found a long queue but less than 20 min we were eating and having our ramen. On the queue they give you the menu and you order. When finally you are on the table takes around 5 min or less to get the food... And then you can enjoy that ramen that was really delicious

Places like this are exactly why I'm in Japan. Little 12 person, standing only sushi shop that is absolutely delicious and a great price. They have a laminated picture menu that non-Japanese speakers can use to point and order. You'll wait for a bit, but it's totally worth it! They also have take away sushi you can pick up on your way out of the station.
Cost performance is good. All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink are satisfactory
Places where you like Japanese Sake & you can enjoy lots of sake reasonably. That is Sake Labo Tokyo.
