This place is a real find in Coffs Harbour. Open air in the CBD with fast service, exceptional Japanese food at a fair price. Our girls meet here every week and just love it.

My family and I went to this amazing restaurant. We rang up half an hour before going to book the table and it was no problem. The food was divine. My fussy teenagers loved every mouthful and would want more if they weren't so full. The staff was very friendly and the whole experience was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Travelling through Coffs and was actually looking for a different café for lunch but couldnât find it. Walked past Ootoya and liked the look of it so stopped in. Had mixed tempura, octopus balls, karaage chicken, salmon and avo sushi rolls and spider rolls. So nice to have fresh, tasty food instead of greasy fast food while travelling. Well worth the stop!

We called in to hungry Bear for lunch to get sushi. We were truly impressed with the amazing sushi we got! The teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken and salmon and avocado were all delicious! Some of the best sushi we have ever had Thank you for your review. I'm very happy you had a good time here. I'll try to offer better service. Thank you.

I decided to make my first visit after reading other people's reviews. The business is a café type business but was clean. It was busy being lunchtime with lots of people coming in for takeaway. The food looked really fresh with lots of Sushi. I decided to have the soup with Prawn dumplings - a good choice but the serving was large and would have fed 2 people, I was on my own so I struggled through. It was very nice, but I would have preferred a smaller serving. I will be going back to try the other delicious looking offerings.
