Grandsons 10th birthday was a big deal. So we picked up our order at 5.45 on a Wednesday evening. Everything was ready, well packed and well presented. We had a feast costing over $200 but it did the job. There was not one issue. It was very good and none was left. Sounds expensive but having it at home was perfect as all the small kids could do and eat what they wanted to. They all had different likes but we enjoyed it.

Just loved this restaurant - Went back after a few months to find out there is now new ownership & management. Change in menu & very limited, the waitress tried really hard to help regarding less fried food, unfortunately kitchen not as helpful. Ended up ordering a meal I didn't really want, it was nice, but lacking something. Corkage was ridiculous $10 per bottle. Decent size meals, but still too expensive & too much fried food under the heading of tempura. Used to be such a fabulous restaurant & delicious menu - such a shame they've made so many changes. Service was good & staff were very nice - not their fault the menu changes and excessive corkage charges.

Japanese grilling robatayaki
Recommended by a friend and very close to home - sounded ideal. And it was ideal.Small, not too crowded and not too busy, friendly staff and a convivial atmosphere. The menu choice was very good, featuring some unusual or non-standard dishes, dishes such as mashed potatoes and apple kimchi, both not seen by me at any other Japanese restaurant. We liked everything that we ordered. We are looking forward to a return visit.
