Baguio, perched high in the Cordillera Central Mountains, is a great place to escape the heat of the Philippine lowlands. Camp John Hay, originally built as a recreation area for U.S. soldiers, now is a full-fledged resort complete with a world-class golf course. Definitely stop at the city market, where you can buy almost anything (just be prepared to haggle).

Where to eat Pizza food in Baguio: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Agara Ramen is a fourteen (14) seater ramen bar located in Baguio City that offers classic and authentic ramen bowl favorites.
My friend and I tried Tsukemen (dipping ramen) and Chuka Soba. The staff were friendly. I noticed that both ramen had similar base. The Tsukemen had thicker sauce consistency (obviously for the sauce to stick to the thick noodles). While the Chuka Soba noodles were thinner. Both ramen bowls were tasty and the broth was thick and cloudy. What was off was that both bowls were too salty. One would get the "suya" feeling just after the first few slurps. It was that rich and oily. The amount of garlic overshadowed the real taste of the broth ( Which is not a good date food). I would strongly suggest that they place OPTIONS for the customers to enjoy their ramen better. Be prepared for No bringing home of leftovers.

Expect an authentic Japanese charcoal grill experience like no other; offers a fun and interactive âhands-on cookingâ with a "smoke free charcoal grilling"
Enjoyed unlimited fresh Angus beef, chicken, pork sausage, squid, green salad and other things in this grill restaurant with a Japanese theme. Excellent ambiance and clean restrooms. Servers were attentive and courteous. Price is reasonable and you get your moneyâs worth. Definitely recommendable. I would return to this place and bring along others too.
Serves japanese dishes, innovative. Maki rolls can be very oily. Need to improve soup dishes, they offer 2 or 3 choices, and the spicy miso has strong butter taste. Sashimi is good. Has very limited parking space.

Hodori is now located in the building right next to it's old location. Although the new place seems bigger than the old one, proper ventilation is a big problem. The smoke coming from the kitchen and the food being cooked in the customer's table doesn't have ample exit so you end up inhaling the smoke. There were only two guys serving food to the customers. One of them is actually the juggling duties between serving food and tending to the cashier. Although they're nice, polite and fast moving, i bet additional staff will help improve the service.

We tried the teppanyaki table at Hamada since most of us were looking for a different flavor while in Baguio.Japanese food is not that common in Philippine mountainous areas due to the limited supply of fresh seafood but the choices made available at Hamada did not disappoint. The set teppanyaki menu at Php 2000++ per person is worth it considering the serving size and the quality of the dishes as well as the skill of the teppanyaki chef.

Nothing endorses a Japanese restaurant more than seeing actual Japanese diners. It is refreshing that there was no loud greeting upon entering. You are greeted instead by attentive staff. The place is a converted log cabin with a lot of wood panelling, an actual fire place and high wood beam ceiling. There are only a few tables so making reservations is a must. After ordering, we were given appetizers of young spinach leaves and cooked tuna. The food arrived fast, beautifully plated in unique ceramic plates and bowls. We ordered chirasi, salmon sashimi, sukiyaki, agedashi tofu and nasu, and chicken terikayi. At the end of the meal, we were given complementary mini bowls with tiny scoops of matcha ice cream. What a lovely surprise! We ordered a red bean dessert which had a scoop of matcha and vanilla icecream, with whipped cream and gelatin. Oishi!
