The whole family has enjoyed this on both occasions. Haven't tried the sushi, but the combo meals with rice and egg rolls are very good. The spicy dishes won't kill you, very pleasant. The fried wonton with cream cheese inside was great. This place is very clean and the staff is friendly. We will be back for more!
I've always been fond of the Hibachi style of Asian cuisine instead of the standard Chinese Buffet or Restaurant with the same things on every menu. The fried rice here is just excellent and what fried rice is supposed to be. While I would be satisfied with just the the rice and white sauce on the table, Fuji has a ton of meat and seafood options to go with it. I like the chicken and steak combination, but the shrimp and scallops are good too. You can watch it being cooked fresh as the cook has his Hibatchi grill out in the dining room. Another good part about Fuji is that salad and soup come with every entree on the menu which helps the value even more. I highly recommend Fuji if you are looking for a great food at a great value in Gadsden!

I don't know if they have changed ownership or chefs but the food is not the same. This used to be my favorite place to eat in rainbow city. Something has happened. I ordered steak teriyaki and it tasted like fish. I thought maybe something was wrong with my taste buds but my daughter had chicken teriyaki and she told me hers tasted like fish too. I wish she had said something before we got home. I won't be back.

Entered this on a whim. Asked to check the offerings and were more than happy to stay. They had the normal samplings of an Asian buffet, but much more - must have had 5-10 different shrimp dishes alone! What set this apart was the taste - no hint of food that was left on the steamer too long, or blandness. I noticed the food was attended to often by the staff. They also offer sushi and a Mongolian barbecue.
My husband and I tried this jewel in downtown Gadsden. The restaurant has a wonderful vibe with lots of vintage rock star posters and memorabilia. We ordered several rolls and the crabmeat wontons. Everything was excellent. It was not a run-of-the-mill Japanese meal. The chef uses spicy sauces, jalapenos, and a variety of seafood items making this sushi new and interesting! The crabmeat wontons were divine. Cream cheese and jalapenos encased in a lightly battered triangle. A spicy sauce comes with them for dipping. The restaurant has a full bar. The staff is friendly and very attentive. It is a bit pricey as sushi goes, but it was a great meal and experience.

We had no prior reservation and we were accommodated. The show by our chef before our meal was fun! We also enjoyed salad and soup before our meal. Everything was cooked right in front of us to our specifications. I enjoyed steak and shrimp. We all received hefty portions of fried rice and sautéed vegetables along with our meat selection. We've eaten here before and had a reservation. We shared a table with another family and there were no problems. Service was quite efficient. Our daughter sent me this pic to share.
