Welcome to UDON Noodle Bar, where noodles are fun! We are specialized in Noodles, but we also make delicious side dishes, rices, salads and home made desserts. Udon is based on the concept of "casual food", which combines fast-food, speed and an affordabl
Visited this restaurant today and was expecting the same kind of food as Wagamamas, huge let down!!! Portions are really small, one meal was sent back because it was quite simply revolting, a plate of beige slop without even a sprinkle of coriander or chive to brighten it up. I had the rice with pigs cheek and I counted 5 cubes of pork no bigger than a dice. It was so bloody awful I actually felt offended that it was served to me. This type of food should be packed with contrasting exciting flavors and textures. I make a far superior ramen myself! Our waitress was rude, she plonked 3 plates in front of us (meant for someone else) in the middle of the table, no explanation as to what was what, I gestured to another waitress, who was very professional & she looked rather embarrassed at her colleagues manner. Also had to send the coffee back twice as it was cold. They did remove the sent back dish from the menu which was appreciated. Such a shame that corners have been cut with the menu and the authenticity of the chef as the decor is great. The owners of this place need to go to Wagamamas to see how this type of restaurant should be done. 100% will never go back. Dear Toriosk2, Thank you for giving us an opportunity. We are sorry that you did not enjoy the experience and we are going to check it with our team. Our main objective is to offer the best experience, that's why we only work with fresh and quality ingredients and we invest a lot on the training of our teams. Best regards, UDON Team

This restaurant is rumoured to be one of the finest in Las Palmas therefore we made the effort to make a reservation and visit it for dinner. It is located on an internal street in a little room. There are around 10-12 tables placed close to each other in a small room. We had a table for 2 in a corner which was nice except the restaurant had dust and dirt collected on the side furniture (see last photo). This is not appetising for a restaurant that has received "awards" or which has claimed to. Then we requested wine but they did not have wine by the glass because they claimed "it was over" therefore if we wanted wine then we had to order by the bottle. We chose a beer and sake instead. The menu is 2pages and quite limited. appetiser we ordered was a salmon tartare which is not on the menu. I have to commend this salmon tartare that it was presented well and quite pleasing to the palate. The ingredients in this tartare were well matched. For mains we ordered another dish which was not on the menu, tuna with avocado and mango with a sauce. The sauce ended up being too much in quantity and way too spicy that we could not eat anymore than 1/4 of the dish. The other 2 dishes we ordered were a california roll dish and another one from the menu. The sushi rolls are quite large and filling therefore it is recommended to order within limit. For being a japanese restaurant, the service is extremely slow. We waited almost 30minutes for the main dishes. There were a total of 3 servers and service was extremely slow. When we ordered a bottle of water, they brought us a bottle without any glasses to drink in. We had to get their attention again (which was a task), to get glasses. In conclusion, I dont see why there is so much hoo-haa about this restaurant because the menu is limited, there is nothing "wow" on the menu, the dishes are expensive, the service is ridiculously slow and inefficient, the location and ambience deserve zero stars and the restaurant isnt even cleaned properly.

Probably the best Japanese restaurant in Gran Canaria. The food is prepared following the Japanese cousine and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. You can't miss their tuna sashimi (toro) simply spectacular!

Typical Korean and Japanese food restaurant
A lovely little restaurant which made a real impression. We were specifically looking for sushi and the chef was very accommodating to our youngsters need for sushi with cucumber and avocado (although it wasnât on the menu). We had a great experience and only wish we would have had more time to come back again to try more Korean food. Food was cooked to perfection, superb korean appetizers and very friendly staff.
