after a few days in town you have had just about all you can eat from the asian cuisine offerings and fast food western style like KFC and MacDonalds just wont do.......What a relief.....a courageous operator Paul Peng has recruited an italian trained chef and offers the ristorante look and feel all the food that goes with it.I sat to a pizza and although it was not the best I have ever had there was a lot that could be praised. The base was amazing and given that I was in mainland China the toppings were quite good.The menu offers all that you could expect from an everyday Italian cuisine. priced a little higher than I expected I quickly had to remind myself that it was unusual ingredients and service that had to be paid for and that made it acceptable.So it wasn't a mirage....the restauarant does exist.......what a relief.

Joe's brings to Zhongshan, New York American - Italian food created for a young generation of Chinese to experience a truly world wide feel and culture is the advertising blurb and I think they have achieved it.I've been twice now and the first time I had a seafood pasta, the 2nd a fresh made burger with made in store pesto sauce, original German sausage and fresh baked roll. Living in Zhongshan fresh seafood in which you can taste the sea is hard to come buy. Joe Molese have found it somewhere and my mouth thought it was back in Australia. Awesome! The Burger I selected from a wide range to choose from came out and I thought I could never finish it. Large, big and beefy was the only way to describe it. When i took my first bite I didn't stop till I took my last.

I visited with friends last Saturday night and had an excellent time. Staff were friendly and attentive, wine could be ordered by the bottle unlike some Italians in the area and food was authentic and brilliant value for money. The environment has a cosy, friendly. My favourite Italian in Zhongshan so far!

Went here with some business colleagues and enjoyed the restaurant and food. We had a good representation from the menu between pizza, lasagna, ravioli, bruschetta, more. Overall the food was good but not great. The lasagna was dry, the half chicken was also dry. The service was good and very prompt. Worth a try if you are looking for Italian while in Zhongshan.

The place is beautiful and the staff is friendly. They speak good English and made amazing suggestions about the food. We had hot chocolate, Thai rice, chicken parm another dish which I don't remember the name and it was all delicious. Thank you very much Ale B. Glad you enjoyed the food. We also do live music on most Saturday nights.

This is a wonderful restaurant. I visit Zhongshan many times a year and find myself eating at this restaurant quite often. Great Pizza, pasta dishes, and some excellent steak options. You should enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of this restaurant. Priced right with great food! You can't go wrong taking your work associates here.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The menu is very diversified, all the dishes are succulent and well set. It is a real pleasure to find such delicious italian food in Zhongshan, and moreover the waiters can speak english.You can also find there a large offer of nice liquors and cocktail which are difficult to find in China.

We are make more then an hour drive only for test the delicious Pizza of Andrea, staff are very friendly and the beer always cold, there is also the opportunity to test the real Italian spritz topical Italian drink like all the ingredients that Andrea is using for cook.I raccomando this restaurant to everybody.
