How does somebody make a Margherita Pizza with dried out herb basil flakes and dried out packs of mozzarella from the Commissary? This pizza was insulting. You should be ashamed of yourself selling this garbage. I threw it in the garbage after the first bite. What a rip off. Beside it being paper thin, it tastes worse than any other Okinawan pizza place. Iâd rather eat on Base. To the owner: close it down, learn how to make a proper pie and then beg the overseas US community for forgiveness. Yuck

We had a family lunch in this cafe. It is a beautiful little cafe with a lovely atmosphere. The food was just amazing, beautifully presented and most delicious. Everything - from starters to desserts was amazingly well done. Children had their own child-friendly versions, which they loved. The owner is very nice and friendly. Highly recommend! The best lunch we had in Okinawa.

Affordable lunch place in Yomitan offering a set lunch. I had the cheese risotto with salad and chicken.The highlight was the roasted chicken, juicy and well seasoned. The risotto could have been cheesier.

Maruki's is set off of the main road, on a hill overlooking the East China Sea. The Chefs, Tomomi and "Bob"(as he's affectionately called) cook up the best Italian pasta dishes, soups, deserts, and brick oven pizza I have ever had. The setting is very laid back and comfortable. After a long day at the beach or exploring the island, we love coming back to our favorite restaurant! The beer's served cold and the pizza is hot! I highly recommend whatever special pasta Bob is serving that day, as his hand made noodles and authentic Italian sauces have never disappointed. I will be coming back to Maruki's as often as I can!

This pizzeria is probably the best eating option if you're visiting the nearby pottery village. Highlights include island vegetables pizza and the Gorgonzola and honey pizza, to which I'd add the black sugar banana smoothie we shared as a dessert. The restaurant is child friendly but then the main seating area shares a space with an expensive gift shop for the adjacent pottery, so you might want to opt for the upstairs tables if you're nervous or your little bull is hard to control.

Been here twice now, but have friends that go regularly. Regular menu and specials. Not too overpriced. Good size beers, good cocktails. Friendly and English speaking. Mom with 3 kids came in while we were there and they brought her a high chair. Favorite- cheese plate and lamb chops. Good fish n chips. Good pizzas. Some parking.

Italian with the Okinawa touch, very good stop for a lunch meal. Prices are higher here than the overall area but the food is great. The pizza is prepared all by hand and cooked individually in an open fire oven (propane.) They have 5 or six pasta set meals for lunch, and the soup/salad set is worth the extra 200 yen. Coffee was the only thing I would classify as average. Desert menu is limited and changes monthly. Feels like a really clean old barn house and smells like an Italian kitchen, nice and quiet but very busy. Seating for about 25 people total with 10 in the main room and the rest in the other sections. Not a good spot for a large group, perfect for a small lunch gathering though.

I am prejudiced since this is literally 90 seconds walk from my house. And I have been going every Friday night for the last three months. Great pizza and Italian menu and very friendly. It is small, so reservations are encouraged. The portions are enough that sharing is encouraged.

Worth the effort it takes to find. The food ranges from very good to excellent. The prosciutto and cranberry salad was excellent. My wife loved the fresh tomato pizza and the pasta was properly cooked. The service was outstanding. They even have a very well written English menu if your Japanese skills aren't up to scratch.

We are staying at the Niko AliVira hotel and this is one of the onsite restaurants that you can choose to eat at onsite. We did the course set menu and everything was delicious. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
