Witnessed another shouting match tonight between customers and a waitress. Employees have horrible hygiene, touching their hair and/or faces while waiting on customers. Also, they eat and drink in view of customers. We were seated and already knew what we wanted. Hostess said our waitress would be with us shortly. Fifteen minutes later, we still hadnât been acknowledged. If friends hadnât been meeting us, we would have left. See photos: Bathroom has dish detergent instead of hand soap. Maybe they should use some of it to clean the wall and FILTHY light switch... Paper towel dispenser fell open and nearly whacked me in the head!If not for the delicious antipasto salad and house dressing, we probably wouldnât return.

Three couples celebrated my birthday here. It was great! One person was dissatisfied with her meal...veal with crab meat. Everything else was spot on. Osso Bucco, a ribeye, etc. The tiramisu was the best I've ever had. A side pasta had the best bolognese I've ever had. I highly recommend. Drinks were good. Prices fair though they showed no mercy with the wine list.

The pizza is good but not like the deep dish you'd get in Chicago so don't expect that. The Sicilian pizza roll appetizer is my favorite.

Really enjoyed dinner yesterday. Everything was amazing. Marco our waiter made it fun and enjoyable. Service couldnât have been better. The meal couldnât have been better either. Steaks were cooked to protection and so was the dessert. Weâre looking forward to returning again soon.

Four adults, each ordering their own individual entrée, but they canât deliver them within 45 minutes of each other! First out, 2 entree salads. About 15 minutes later, we were told the other two items were âcoming right upâ. A short while later, as one person finished his salad, entree #3 (pizza) arrived. Fourth person asked waitress to check on his food. She looked surprised and said of course. She came back and said it was almost ready. The next time we saw the waitress, they had the exact same conversation about missing entree #4.Finally, about 1/2 hour after the pizza arrived, entree # 4 (a sub sandwich) was delivered. Same thing, last two visits. Unbelievable...Most employees are pretty nice, as are owners. Reasonably clean, average prices and food is ok. We go primarily because thereâs never a wait. But then we wait. And wait. And wait...

Classic Detroit (area) restaurant. It was an excellent experience. Friendly prompt service, generous portions and reasonable prices. I had the Steak Sammy which is a specialty. I loved it. I'll go back.

There must be new people in the kitchen because the pizza crust and sauce were not up to 'old' standards. Although servers were friendly the process was slow and there were many excuses. 'It was a kitchen problem not a service problem. Fried mushrooms were water logged. Bread was stale. Place was filled 'with long time customers' but I could hear grumbling. Not saying it was horrible ... but Franks used to be great! Never the less, will not return unless I hear good reports.

This place is on the smaller side but the food is really good. The waitress was very helpful in suggested things.

Atmosphere is like a diner with a slight Italian theme. Food (which is paramount) was average to below average. Pasta sauce was very sugary sweet. Understand you put a tad to curb the acid of the tomatoes, but I would hate to pay their bill for sugar! Also, there was more spaghetti than main entry (see picture).Service was average. Waitress was inexperienced and not happy with her job.Overall, I will not be returning.

Fine dining, gourmet cuisine, Wednesday night Family Style Menu, Sunday AM Buffet
My wife and I along with another couple dined at Magdaleno 2 weeks ago. Everything about the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. The interior was well appointed with linen tablecloths and napkins, and an Italian feel. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The cocktails were generous. I'm pretty picky when it comes to martinis but mine was large and perfectly mixed. Two of our friends had the all-you-can-eat Wednesday specials, one had the mahi mahi, and I had lasagna. All were perfect.I would highly recommend Magdaleno Restaurante to anyone looking for a wonderful diding experience.
