First time in Vite and for sure the first one of a long series. The first person we met was Carmelo, GM or owner of this venue, I donât know, but for sure the Leader.I am a difficult customer, first because I am in the hospitality and second because I am Italian, and just God knows how many delusion I had by Italian restaurant in Astoria or Manhattan. The majority part of them are fake Italian or Italian 3rd or 4th generations, peoples who make fake Italian food just for business but without heart.Tonight finally I found good food, heart and soul, real Italian hospitality and a realItalian menu without any orthography mistakes. The bread of pizza was crispy and wellCooked, claims Fresh Tomato pasta wonderful and the Salmon a party for my palate.Wine list is very nice and cheaper respect the others restaurant met in NYC.The tiramisù the best we ever had among Italy and US.Carmelo treated us as regular customers and old friends and we really appreciated that.I recommend Vite to allOf you really looking for something smellIncredibly of Italian 5 stars quality food.

As Italian Americans ourselves, we know what is good and what is not. Having been to the Parkside in the past, we knew that we would have a very tasty italian meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The entire experience was wonderful. First, valet parking was quick and efficient. Having made reservations on a Friday night, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter and busboy worked as a team and were extremely efficient. Wine was brought out promptly and is reasonably priced. Then our appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and cold antipasto arrived and were very good. Pasta was next and the sauce was seasoned just right. Our entrees of veal sorrentino and veal marsala were very tender and delicious. A side of sauteed escarole was tasty. The pistachio tartufo and capuccinos finished off a wonderful meal. The Parkside continues to provide excellent food, great service in a friendly atmosphere!

Uncle Peter's is a neighborhood restaurant located in Jackson Heights, Queens offering an eclectic menu with influences from Italy, Spain & France. Our philosophy is to serve quality food using fresh ingredients in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
One glance at this menu and you can see the wide range of choices there are. They also have specials. The Rigatoni & Italian Sausage is delicious. All the food is well prepared with fresh produce, meats and fish. I am happy this restaurant is in my neighborhood!

A quick ride from Manhattan to a delicious authentic Italian meal.Nice diverse menu with classic and creative items, well priced with good portions.Attentive pleasant wait staff.Good reasonable wine list.We chose the front room as it was quieter and allowed for lively conversation. Will definitely return.

I had an early dinner here with two friends recently. The decor is really cool, it has a chill downtown vibe. The tables in the front are definitely nicer than the tables by the kitchen, we weren't crazy about our table. However, the food more than made up for the table location! We had the swiss chard 'ceasar', confit tomato/burrata, bucatini, chardie sheen, and calzone. for $15 the calzone was enough for 2-3 people! Everything was excellent, the ingredients were fresh, we loved the wood oven flavor. Aside from the calzone, the portions are on the smaller side but still more than adequate-- if you're looking for a Carmine's style Italian place this isn't for you. Our server was knowledgeable and quick. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to visiting again!

We walked here from our hotel to check it out. Wow, this food is great! And affordable. Their menu offers a lot. From chicken sandwiches and burgers to individual pizza slices or order a whole pizza. We got a couple meat Jamaican pockets. Those were excellent!! They have tables here if you want to eat in.

A friend of mine recommended SoleLuna about a month ago. I rarely frequent restaurants in Sunnyside, so this would be something different. I must say, I am glad a friend recommended this restaurant. The food and service were spectacular. The wine list is surprisingly very good with a fine variety of reds, whites and rose and sangria. The food was exceptional. It felt like we were eating homemade family made Italian Food. The staff was very friendly and attended to all our needs. Marcello, our server, went out of his way to please our party. Highly recommend. Give it a try

Zagat 2013 and Michelin Guide Recommended. Our cuisine is a combination of traditional classics and state-of-the-art fare. All of the dishes are prepared with an emphasis on using only the freshest ingredients, keeping the integrity of traditional dishes
It seems to have your typical Italian cuisine but look more closely, or better yet, ask your waiter. The off-menu dishes sometimes gravitate to the menu proper. I've had sailfish carpaccio, elk, ostrich and many game meals that were terrific.AmbassadorCarl, thanks for your review. We're glad you got the chance to stop by for a great meal. You make some great choices when it comes to selecting meals. Our sailfish is an excellent choice. We'll be here waiting when you're ready to try more off-menu items. - Chef Rocco Sacramone
