Walk in the door of Palma Maria and you are instantaneously transported back to 1986, from the people, the food, the decor, everything. Which can be good or bad depending on your opinion. For me, it was a nice nostalgic feel that made me feel I was back with the family of my youth. We went on Valentine's Day and when my husband made the reservation, he asked if there was a special menu. When the owner said there wasn't, my husband asked if the early bird menu would be available and the answer was yes. When we sat down we were told it wouldn't be available and the waitress even asked the owner and he said no. It was no major deal, since the regular prices were only a couple dollars more and still reasonable, but it was poor business.I had the lasagna, which was very different than most. It was thin layers of only pasta and excellent ricotta, then it was slathered in a very good red meat sauce and just a hint of mozzarella on top. It was quite good and not so heavy as most lasagna tend to be. My husband had the Chicken Francese with a side of pasta w/ aglio olio. There were two medium pieces of chicken that were egg battered and had the standard lemon and caper sauce with a nice tang. Be sure you really love garlic if you order something with the aglio olio. Which we do, but not a first date kind of dish. Both meals came with a family style bowl of salad tossed with oil and vinegar. The staff was terrific, mostly family, including our waitress Maryann. She was delightful. There is a small wine list with some excellent bargains.

Their food is pretty good but not 0utstanding. The spaghetti sauce needs more herbs and spices since it tastes pretty bland. Their pizzas are good.

Excellent service and a tasty, thick crust pizza. Not the best I've ever had but still very good and reasonably priced. My only complaint was there were numerous TV sets most tuned to HGTV...with the volume up. Just seemed odd.

Amazing Pizza and Pasta - since they started making Pizza (your choice of sauces and topping - right before your eyes) --- the Cup of Pasta is even better than before! We were there on "Pizza Opening Day" - keep in mind, this is NOT your regular pizza! The crust is delightfully the right density so as not to be too heavy ... you and your friend want different toppings? Easy to do ... the pizzas are not huge but can easily feed 2 people comfortably! The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful! Don't want Pizza? The Cup of Pasta is still there too for all to enjoy! Because the pizza line is so new, I picked up a pizza and delivered it to the ladies at Dillards' cosmetic counter to share ... ! I love being able to recommend Cup of Pasta - but even more? I love it that our taxes stay in our area, helping to keep Oviedo growing! Thank you CoP!

My husband and I went recently and had a fabulous dinner for a reasonable price. The interior of the restaurant makes you feel like you dining in a 5 star restaurant. The staff and the food are definitely 5 star! Looking forward to my next visit!Thank you for your excellent review, you are the reason why we went through the pains of rebuilding this restaurant. Our customers make us âhappyâDominick

We were here last evening and really enjoyed our experience! I ordered Veal Picatta, very nicely done, I enjoyed it! My husband ordered the Lasagna, because his grandaughter told us how good it was, he didn't leave a morsel on his plate! Our server Lonnie was terrific, funny and helpful! The flatbread was not as thin as my husband likes, but very tasty. Their Tiramisu was wonderful, I loved it!

Two family members wanted to go to Carrabbaâs. I went along with some reluctance after a bad experience a few years ago. We got a calamari appetizer, which was over salted, over peppered, and very greasy. My companions liked their entrees, but found the portions a bit small (their opinion was three stars, mine was one). I decided to go straight to the dessertâthe chocolate dream, which had a sauce that tasted like it came right from a bottle of Hersheyâs syrupânone of the richness expected from mousse. I am not planning to rush back.

We eat at Tomasino regularly for pizza and calzones. Tried eggplant parmesan sandwiches and they resembled nothing about a NY Parm sandwich. Greasy, 1 layer of eggplant and a layer of sauce and cheese. Disappointing. Will stick to pizza and calzones from now on.

We attended a rehearsal dinner at Enzoâs on the Lake recently and were delighted with the beautiful view, great food and exceptional service. It made for a perfect evening. The steaks were awesome and the tiramisu worth every calorie. Thanks Enzoâs for a memorable evening!

We used Stefanoâs for catering an event. Alejandro provided us with very shallow trays of food (2â deep- much narrower than other caterers trays). We had wanted food for 65 people and were assured by Alejandro that we would have enough. The food was tasty but simply not enough. How do you send only sent 45 pieces of eggplant parmigiana to feed 65 people? We had lots of left over sauce, though, lol. The picture of the empty trays filled with lots of sauce speaks volumes. Truly felt taken advantage of by Stefanoâs. Will never return for any event or reason.
